Clive been bought by Tranmere for a small fee perhaps? Lorna is a passionate and professional presenter and has a great voice. She is good at conveying the atmosphere amongst fans. However she needs to realise that it's not about her and boring mentions about non football trivia (or her or her family) are going to put people off from listening. Rob Gurney makes it about him too much and its very annoying and uneccessary. CWR has been great last few years and they put in great effort that few other BBC Local Radio stations do. Lorna will be fine if she gets the gig and settles down. Will miss Clive though, a real football statto!

I don't think Lampard liked him, Geoff Shreeve was all over him on Saturday which Frank Loved, Clive is not your average Sky Sports presenter. I don't think this had any sway in Clives desicion by the way

Yeah I can honestly see this happening.
I think Rob's live commentary is actually pretty decent, but he can fall into despair when we're losing, especially after the game with the callers.

Clive usually has a more balanced view and doesn't see the game as a fan

I don't believe for a minute that King has had words with the BBC and got Clive the push but its not a great look to have his brother doing stuff like this as it will fuel people who do want to believe it.

He posts a lot of nonsense on twitter and most of the time its easy to just ignore it but it would probably be a good idea if Doug had a quiet word and advised him to think about what he is posting.
