Just announced on CWR that, after today, (unless we make the play offs of course) Clive Eakin won't be covering City match commentary any more.

Such a shame, really enjoyed listening to him.

I hope they find someone else who mixes up white players with black players and our opponents with clubs we haven't played for over 20 years. He will be missed.

End of an era. No longer able to ignore prophecies of “danger here” and always the possibility of complete misidentification of city scorers. Clive said MVE had scored Paterson’s goal. Easy error as MVE seems more naturally right footed than Pato. The word “broodje” is Dutch for batch (well bread roll).

Think Clive’s days were numbered once Gurney returned to CWR sadly. Been slowly squeezed out.

Loved Gurney back in the 90’s, but haven’t really warmed to him since his return.
