Seeing an England Blues flag and going over to give his England shirt to them at the end.

Got me thinking about Maddison…. Sees a Cov flag and a Leics flag at an England game…which does he go to at the end to give his shirt to?
In reality he heads for a Man U one and finally reveals what we knew all along that he is actually one of those sad Covkids that supported a club over 100 miles away just because they win stuff.

Bellingham played for only 1 English club before being sold abroad. Maddison has played in England for 3 clubs. Seems odd to make a topic about Bellingham just to then use it as stick to beat Maddison with, especially when it’s hypothetical.

Maddison didn’t make the squad of 33 let alone 26. He’s made one substitute appearance for England . In the next squad he withdrew because of injury but was spotted in a casino. Coupled to some doubts about him during his u21 record, i think the current Wmgland management structure simply don’t trust him.
He’s behind Mount, Foden, Sancho, Saka, Bellingham, Ward-Prowse and Lindgaard (Who was apparently offered to Leicester along w £20m 18 months ago)

if Maddison’s half game hadn’t been in a qualifier I would not have been surprised to find him doing a reverse Declan and becoming an Irish international but it’s hard to see him getting a run in the England team in the near future.

Maddison has all the hallmarks of a big time Charlie with his expensive travel bags, silly posting and seems to exude a bad attitude. I don’t know the guy but that’s how it seems and if it’s right then Southgate wouldn’t go near him with a barge pole seeing as he emphasises team over individuals.

He often praises the club & staff but I’ve never seen him acknowledge the fans unlike many of our ex-players, to me at least there’s something a bit dislikable about him, not that I spend too much time thinking about him

If rumours are to be believed then he’s using Instagram to get a move to Arsenal

Well I don’t think that is why. He was playing really well and then picked up a nasty injury and he didn’t look fully recovered when he got back playing again.

Maddison is class, had a bad dip in form after injury and not selected, not an issue for either, England have an embarrassment of riches in that position and he's young enough and good enough to have another chance. I've heard that he's very good with money, invests a lot, but he's also a young lad on 100k+ a week. Of course he'll buy expensive shit and show off. We all probably would in that same situation.
