I don't think one assist is enough to stop criticism and considering he was poor, along with most others, for most of the game, he must have been happy to get that assist. Great work, and shows what we can do when we get the ball to the by line.

Let's just enjoy the win and look forward to next week. We have brought another team into the scrap today (Bristol C). We can still get out of this. Home form is good now. Just need to sort out away form.

He was one of our better players. He made 2 fantastic interceptions in the last 5 minutes, particularly the one on the left byline where he swooped in front of the Barnsley man to take the ball when he was 3 yards behind him when the ball was played. His other one was at the CB position and vital as otherwise there was a shot in the area on! His assist was not just a great cross but also a superb lung-bursting overlap to be there to put it in. Not bad for a guy out of position coming back from a horrendous injury lay-off. Dunno what those drugs he kept taking second half were, but they did the job!

Won a header he had no right to at the end too. (not sure if that is one you meant)

He's momentarily quietened his critics, but let's not go mental. Good game, more of the same please.

I didn't, but add that to the catalogue.

What I like about him at LB is the way he is quick enough to get it on his strong foot, whereas the likes of Stephen Wright always took about 5 minutes of working around the ball to get it off their left..

Sw88-whatever he was taking today, it was in a small vial and he washed it down with a bigger drink.

Jordan looked very strong at the end, now he's got his match fitness he is able to turn in a good performance. He did a few clearances from in and around our box after the goal, he kept on going.

Never seen the vials some players are taking during game, is this a recent development as they seem to be working with 2 90 minute goals in the past few weeks? Could have done with them a few times this season when we have conceded late goals.

Well there's no doubt about it, Clarke perked up massively after taking his and proceeded to deliver 15 of the finest minutes in his CCFC career! Shame they didn't give Baker one..

Tried to work Out how he got it up for the big man ,right in front of me ,looked to be going out ,i'm pretty sure it was the sweetest deft flick off the outside of his right foot ,if Messi ,Tevz Sourez had done it ,there'd be a mass ejaculation on sky for a week ,Skill.

Second thread in two weeks aimed at maligning Clarke. I don't get it. Young guy doing his best after a long injury playing out of position.
Also today performance was as good as most.
Lay off.

Having just seen it on TFLS..you aint wrong! That really was a sublime bit of skill to flick it with the outside of his right foot onto Clive's head. The way players leapt on him as they celebrated, they knew he deserved a lot of the credit.Great header it was, too! Claridge says he "senses a revival" :D

At least they got it right that Clark supplied the assist but shot themselves when saying Christie supplied the pass into the box

Great ball by Norwood to Clarke: they mostly didn't come off for him today, but that little bit of quality and the vision to spot Clarke's run made the difference in the end.

I'm amazed you were still in the ground ,still no regular lift?going mental is even better when you win in the90-91min.

No, as he said himself in the car "And we were both there to see a winning goal in stoppage time at The Rioch for the first time ever! I don't know why I stayed for once..maybe because I felt like we were dominating so much, that it was just a matter of time". :D
