“The Gaffer has come in now and I am sure he will fix what is broken over the next few weeks.” - Coventry City’s Chris McCann

The ridiculous propaganda coming out of the club just gets worse and worse. This quote was on the official. He either thinks the fans are complete uneducated idiots (Grendull aside) that will believe this broken club can be fixed in a couple of weeks, or he actually believes it himself! I don't know what's worse! Is there anyone at the club that can actually grow a pair and stand up to SISU?

Picking a quote from a player who departs next week is comedy genius.

You seem to be The King Of Telling Everyone Else What To Do, so maybe you can do it yourself. Let me know how you get on.

What exactly are you expecting him to say? All the players are shit, we've got no chance and are definitely getting relegated?

Then it would be complaints that they'd given up.

Or

c) he thinks a football manager with experience might do a better job than a director with none

This may not pan out but it's not a ridiculous suggestion either. He doesn't appear to say the club will be magically fixed.

I edited in a question mark just to make it clearer to you that

Er... yes he does. The manager will "fix what is broken". The club is most definitely broken.

And with Slade being a football manager it'll be the football side that McCann is talking about, not the multitude of other woes. Fairly obvious what he means by that.
