Only played with Soundgarden last night, died 'suddenly and unexpectedly' a few hours later. This sucks.

Got to see him on the solo acoustic tour in Brum last year, his voice absolutely filled the symphony hall. Was hoping to see Soundgarden or TOTD if possible at some point.

Such a shame. He was one of the only musicians left that I actually really liked.

I always got the impression he was 'cleaner' than the others as well, and didn't get involved with drugs etc as much. Could be wrong though I guess.

Bennington was good friends with Cornell and sang at his funeral. Would have been Cornell's birthday today.

Its been confirmed that he hung himself today. He was married with 6 kids. Tragic.
