I think it will be less than that but complete guesswork on my part, 60-70 maybe? Which wouldnt be enough for me to want to do it to be fair, sounds like it would take a huge time commitment.

His CV won't look too shabby after this latest role. Was appointed when the club was in the 4th division and he bows out shortly after the club was a penalty shootout away from the PL.

I am aware that people completely refuse to give him any credit for this rise. But seriously, you'd have to have been living on the fucking moon to not see the improvements to the commercial side of the business over the last 6 years. He did a decent enough job in very difficult conditions. Good luck to him.

To be fair everyone is saying this is he even going? Unless they have renamed the job title is this even Boddy’s job being advertised?

I agree, with the level of accountability, the fact that the hours will be extremely irregular and notwithstanding the fact that the successful candidate will be in the public eye and not least open to extreme scrutiny by the experts on here! Anything around the 60k mark might put talented executives off as there is a better work life balance with better remuneration to be made in other roles.

A significant role, could easily be £100k salary for that

Given that King is acting as Executive Chair, which inevitably means many elements of a CEO's job role and now the recruitment of a COO. Then I would presume that DB's job will be made redundant.

Stop blaming SISU for things that are happening 7 months after. We are 2 games into the season and kids(our future) still cannot get shirts that were ordered on the first day. Some people still had to use paper tickets Saturday.People looking for seats not being able to get them together because of the South Stand issue .Promotion of games terrible i.e. apart from fans who knows there's a game this Saturday.and you think this guy is doing a good job.
P S To theferret. Im sending this from the moon. 3 ticket staff with queues out the door for any big game last year if phone booking only 2 on we have been back in the Championship for 3 seasons now.We are not playing in front of 9,000 now. If you think he's doing alright prehaps it's you who should be up here

I agree with that looking at the scope and responsibility of the role. People seem convinced it will be in the 60-70k bracket which seems ludicrous.

Furore about the kit thing is pathetic in all honesty - With things how they are at the moment should count themselves to lucky to even have the new kit straight away cause I bet there’s some families out there who can’t afford that luxury, so they might have to wait a few weeks boo hoo and if your a grown man annoyed a replica shirt hasn’t come yet then you need to grow the fuck up

I don’t think he has done half as bad of a job as you said he has no

The shirts in question are small prerhaps ordered on the first day maybe as a birthday present by people who can afford them.Try telling a child they cannot have 1 of their present( has not come yet). The "grown men" are mostly young lads who want to impress their mates It's a shame they cannot be bought elsewhere then the club would start lose the revenue.

I might apply tbh because it seems you can do fuck all, get loads wrong and blame other factors and still maintain a role at the club for years in all departments, and I'm good at that

A brief look online seems to put the position in the 80+ per year bracket, some more like 150k too. My assumption earlier looks way off the mark and probably stems from the club being run on a shoestring for so long (on and off the field)

Availability and condition of kits is a fair complaint, not being able to say anything because some people can't buy them is odd.

"People can't moan if product/service they have bought hasn't been delivered because someone may not be able to afford it" is a very niche take. I hope all these people who have been told they may be stuck in Greece for 10 days because of the flight issues don't complain, because some people couldn't afford a holiday

That’s typical male over confidence

Doing the job well is well worth £100k a year!

I know I couldn’t do as good a job as he has over the last 4 years. Some things I think I could do quite well of course
