I honestly think that if we can get a draw against the mighty Chesterfield at home then we will have done well!???

Can't believe that my expectations are so low with us at the moment but.......

CCFC at home to Chesterfield, and Chesterfield are 7/5 favourites !

Defeat. 0-2. Both goals from howlers at the back. Pressley to make subs too late, then praise everyone, then say we need players who 'buy into the Coventry way'. Standard.

I always try and stay positive whene it comes to thinking about coming matches but even though I do Ican't see anything more than a draw today. I seriously hnope I'm proved wrong and we walk away with a win but anything better than a loss will be a good result in my book and it depresses me to think that.

#CCFC XI: Allsop, Haynes, Webster, Martin, Pennington, Fleck, C. Thomas, O'Brien, Nouble, Madine, Jackson. #PUSB

Its fair to say he's going for it, might actually see some attacking entertaining football.

So which striker will be playing on the wing, or which two if he continues with 1 upfront?

4-3-3 I assume. With Jackson and Nouble wide of MADINE and a compact midfield three of O'Brien, Thomas and Fleck.

I actually said to my Bro in law that Pressley shud just put nouble Jackson and madine on from start and let star power be the difference.

Looking forward to today's game alot more now!

Stephen Pressley, all I can say is... It's about time!! Fingers crossed they don't still play the possession. of passing it sideways and backwards today, because the crowd won't stand for that type of football anymore. Not with the players at his disposal who can score goals.

I can't believe what I've just heard on CWR regarding Webster and Martin...Willis has been "unlucky to have such strong competition". Martin has proved to be "the perfect foil for Andy Webster", who had struggled last year but been superb this year? REALLY?!?!?!? Clive and his junior assistant are utterly clueless if they really believe this...despite having 2 defensive midfielders sat in front of them all game, they are constantly carved to pieces. Players ghost in behind them at will. They're both slow, clumsy and can't mark. The worst central defensive so-called "partnership" that I've seen at the club.

Still, Clive reckons that O'Brien is a better player than Baker, so....y'know, pinch of salt and all that!

Honestly, who gives a crap? Jesus, if more people started being as passionate about the club as they are about how rubbish they feel Clive and Geoff are we might get somewhere.

Just got in, 2 observations:

1. I hate hate hate the Wasps branding.

2. Our shooting practice is dire.
