Robins had to replace virtually a whole squad with a new one, this is never easy and will take time to deliver, it might not deliver. Goalscoring is always the deciding factor, MRs brief flirtation with a bit of success here last time was the goals from McGoldrick and Lean Clarke to an extent. He has lost his hoped for goal scorer in the close season(Thomas) and awaiting someone else stepping up to the plate we just have to wait and hope that happens.

Plymouth replaced their entire team bar 2 or 3 and look where it took them.

There isn't, there's 2 defenders level with Grimmer on the edge of the box. They come into shot on the highlights as Vincenti puts the ball in.

I don't think replacing large amounts of players is so important either but a couple of our first team starters barely played last year - Vincenti was out injured for most of the season and McNulty barely played in 2017 after being recalled from his loan at Bradford. So I don't think it's the time taken to gel that is necessary but for these 2 particularly, they haven't quite looked match sharp. McNulty is just starting to look like he's getting there but Vincenti will need a system change to start seeing the best of him.
