Most of the lads in the Wheatsheaf are decent blokes. Not been in there this season, but I'd have no issue telling any of them that football violence is a bit silly.

But strangely some of those 'decent blokes' were or are hooligans. You see some on here would have people believe that these lads actually walk like apes and drag their knuckles on the floor.

With regard to your other post about changing the premise to terrorism, I'll think you'll find books where people write about how passionate these terrorists are and how it means so much to them and how they stick together, but I don't remember the author being arrested. But don't worry, the next post I make like that I'll be sure to put a referencing list at the bottom.

I don't drink in the Cherry Tree so count me out. Although I'm more than happy to run a branch from the Wheatshesaf, only I won't be out for a few weeks as I'm working away so the next game I'll be out for is Millwall at home.........

So exactly where in my post did I actually condone football violence?

You glorified it with military and comadre imagery and as if they is done strategic thought and planning in it.

You then say that those who comment it is just mindless thuggery no nothing about it.

So by glorifying and making out it's something different to mindless, Neanderthal thuggery you are in effect condoning it.

We shall have to have an EGM. Anyway, I thought this thread had veered towards vegetarianism?

Obviously not you then as you don't fancy popping in to see them to express your views, you'd just rather do it from the comfort of your keyboard. If you don't know them then how would you know they would shit it? Because if all hooligans were shitouts, how would they ever actually fight?

No, not me, I'm neither hard or foolhardy, so I'll not be popping in, no.
Rolling around on the pavement flailing your arms about like a couple of girls isn't really fighting though is it?
Are you going to answer my question about what you meant by 'sticking up for what they believe in'?

I didn't glorify or condone it, as I've said this morning I was merely stating an opinion based on my experiences. I'm sure you've read my posts this morning as you seem to be a bit of a stalker of mine (I use that term going on what you've said to others about them dragging up your posts and using it like you've done with mine and yes you know you have you little stalker you).

What really tickles me about you is that you say how thick, mindless and moronic it is but then type what I have highlighted above. I'm not sure that a hooligan is a Spanish godmother to me or what the hell the rest of that highlighted sentence means

Nice to see you're a man of principle.......from the comfort of your keyboard. You see if like you say, they fight like girls, it should be a piece of piss for you.

And not to duck anything, what was your question again?

P.S Give me a chance will you, I'm not a typist

So I shouldn't publicly disapprove of anyone (IS for example) unless I have the balls to go tell them? That's what you appear to be saying.

You claimed in your post that started all this that hooligans were 'standing up for what they believe in' - Just wondered if you could tell us what that might be?

You were the first to bring up balls my friend and I was just asking if you had them and would go and ask said people, you said you wouldn't. That's upto you.

Well, not being one myself I can only go on what I've seen and read and from the stuff that I have, I would say that they love their club and city/town and believe and believe that they are willing to fight to show it and they want to be better than the other team. Hope that doesn't seem like I'm condoning it and get another 15 pages of stick.

Now, you going to answer mine. Are you calling me a hooligan and therefore a criminal?

It's not a 70's 'thing' and they're English lads not Polish or Russian tramps fighting in fields. You like to come across on here that you're quite clever but you obviously have no clue what you're talking about on this subject. Being a football lad isn't just about knocking seven shades of shit out of each other. It's not about rocking up in a field with 'team' t-shirts on. It's about mates brought together by a love for the club they follow, the clothes they wear, how far they can push it in other peoples towns, winning a battle on the day and then having a laugh about it later on, not letting other fans take the piss in their towns and cities and sticking up for what they believe in. Some of the mates you make stay with you for life and you know you can count on them whatever and you'd do the same for them.

Plenty of people don't understand but that doesn't make it bad or the people that do it monsters. There is far worse out there in football than hooligans I can assure you like crooked football owners, bent politicians and greedy businessmen who put profit before anything while we watch the game slowly die.

Trench, if you're going to run with the CTC you'll need smack a few people, at least with a copy of the Guardian or a Courgette.

Really because in post 255 of yours it looks a lot like you're saying I am. But that aside, sorry to piss on your chips but no I'm not. But guess what, I can read and watch programs and not just ones that glorify it, you know, books that give you an insight into why people do what they do. Which allows me to have an opinion on what I've seen and read. But like I said to Hill a little while ago, the next time I post something as controversial as this subject I'll be sure to pop a reference list at the bottom for the likes of you.

That's me for the day so if you've anything else, be a good boy and save it till next week.
