not really, if it’s giving them 15 minutes as opposed to 65+

Id rather have enough players that we didn’t have to change formation to rest some. Any time Saka an EMC play today is taking from their effectiveness against Birmingham.

A solid midfield, two very attack minded wing backs, our two man strikers both on the pitch, and 3 very high quality attack centric players off the bench?! No complaints here.

I guess the only thing with the midfield it isn’t exactly creative but more defensive. So really the wing backs are going to have to be prime today.

Eccles and Allen can both be effective further up the pitch. Allen used to play regularly as one of the dual 10s and Eccles has played 10 all season.

I actually like the lineup. Would have had Wolf over Lati but other than that we are good.

I agree with every word of that.

The only thing I would add is that, although I would also have gone with Wolfendon, I do think Lati is underrated. He's fine as a CB in a back three and I'm sure he won't let us down.

4-3 City 👍 Two from Haji, one from Simms and one from Eccles. Three own goals by Lati for them.

Well yes I agree thats why I'd Mr King to get his cheque book out.

Wow this is a lineup I was not expecting. There is clearly still illness throughout the camp. Torp not even on the bench.
It doesn't look good tbh, but then what do I know?....

2 upfront, extra body in midfield, and wingbacks bombing forward and crosses flying in.
What's not to love???

A quote from the Coventry Telegraph report of the line-up
".....he will form part of a back three along with Joel Latibeaudiere – making only his second appearance of the season – and Liam Kitching behind goalkeeper Carl Rushworth."

Kitching behind Rushworth????? That's unexpected

I think we will play Rushworth alongside Grimes.

👍

We play everyone inside anyway. They won't get in behind our defence now.

With JDS coming back against Brum we could have 5/6 players that have been rested. Which can only be a good thing as Brum will be on their arses today
