That was a hard watch, it's hard to reconcile the football that led to the goal with what followed for 92 minutes, are the players tired or feeling the pressure of what we're expecting from them given the position they are in. I asked a question about Brau a few weeks back and was told he's a project, on today's showing you'd have to put him in the Hilsner/Kastaneer bracket, not good enough.

They may well catch us, but im not sure scraping past Oxford at home is the game to say with certainty that Ipswich are now going to go on a huge run
Interested to see how their next couple of away fixtures go.

Might be seen as a good point at the end of the season but still feel we were poor

Take a breath, it was shite yes, but it's the busiest part of a long season. Some of you on here have the backbone of a bread stick. The sky caves in and we are doomed if we drop a few points. Others crow like we'd already won the league before Christmas. Equally as mad. We are in a promotion fight with considerably less tools compared to Ipswich and a bunch of other teams. We have done incredibly well to build a cushion but now we can use that to find some form again.

The thing that could cost us is lack of quality cover but thankfully we can address that during the transfer window. You never know, maybe Brau looking so out his depth, no cover for Tats and EmC and Grimes having a wobble might spur Doug into investing more to make a push in the new year.

Please don't attempt to use logic and sensible reasoning.

Let Lampard go to Chelsea, and bring in 6 new signings to the first XI before sunday.

Eccles, Allen, Lati, KKH (out of position) & Brau.

Not top two players at all.

Lampard has done incredibly well to get us to this point but we have to back him with better players. This January is the most important window in a generation.

At least Birmingham are on a dreadful run of form. Bottom of the form table for the last 7 games.

Last 3 home games have been 1-1 draws. Ipswich away at Pompey on Sunday. Reckon they'll pick up 3 points there.

Thought KKH did well considering he was out of position. Eccles fine as a sub, others not at the level.

It's not a lack of effort, it's a lack of quality and composure at the moment.

I think it’s both.

We looked tired again today, it’s crazy when Kitching, a CB, was the one trying to make things happen.

Not sure on that. We did get in good positions, but made the wrong choices.

On two occasions at least, a pass was on in the box, but the player decided to take it on himself.

We did, but nowhere near enough. Our goal was so easy, but we then, for whatever reason, completely dropped off.

When we have a midfield three of Eccles, Allen and Grimes, you know it isn’t going to create. So we needed more from the WB’s and strikers today.

Creativity required in this window, especially as Rudoni is taking a long time to find his form.

Watford, Ipswich & Hull all flying and catching us at a decent rate (despite Hull's defeat today). I'm concerned.
Hull just lost at home to Stoke and drew with bloody Sheffield Wednesday. Everyone needs to pull themselves together, its a bit embarrassing on here tonight.
The management know we need help. We'll get it. We've still only lost 3 games all season.

Any way to get the Birmingham game called off? We look done physically and mentally.
