Can we agree not to embarrass ourselves as a fan base this Saturday? When he touches the ball boo's aren't necessary
so is this a goer then, what do we all think
Don’t think that means anything either way.Nah he’s posting on his Insta in a Hull Kit and doing charity work up there. It’s no happening

Doubt he’ll join though, seems a very ambitious deal.
Errr... no... he's getting it alright. Can we agree not to embarrass ourselves as a fan base this Saturday? When he touches the ball boo's aren't necessary

He's just reposted the clubs post. You think if he was close to leaving he’d randomly post a story in their kit? He’d be keeping a low profile
I'm thinking back to Hamer - he was all over the clubs videos and yet weeks later he was gone. But yes...it seems increasingly unlikelyYou think if he was close to leaving he’d randomly post a story in their kit? He’d be keeping a low profile

why would we boo our own player? Can we agree not to embarrass ourselves as a fan base this Saturday? When he touches the ball boo's aren't necessary
Genuinely think we’ll spend another 15 million before the end of the windowSo we know we’ve got at least 8 million to spend , that should boost the squad a bit, we were never spending 10 million on one player,
Who has said he is close to signing anyway? Doesnt mean we cant make a bid and get accepted thoughYou think if he was close to leaving he’d randomly post a story in their kit? He’d be keeping a low profile
Yes it’s from sky sportsIs this based on rumour or any facts - way too much too spend on one player

Doug likes to offer enticing installments, especially if we were to be promoted. There's every chance he pulls it off, they'll want cash rolling in over a few years so they can spend once the embargo is over.So we know we’ve got at least 8 million to spend , that should boost the squad a bit, we were never spending 10 million on one player,

We will make nothing back on Grimes. He's what we needed and we have to allow for exceptions to the rule but its not what we should be generally looking at. To fill a squad with too many of those is the Birmingham/Wrexham model, we cannot afford to do that, we have to take calculated risks on players we think will improve so we can cash in and go again if our attempts at promotion fail. If we saddle ourselves with a load of oldies and then also fail to go up, we will become marooned again.I must admit to feeling that this deal, if it happens, has the potential to push the model too far. To make a good return Hughes has to become very good indeed in order to get the price we eventually want to sell him for. He might, but obviously the better you need to be to get the sale price you want, the harder that is to achieve. Personally I would prefer a lower risk Grimes style purchase
NoWell this is the counter argument.
Who would rather spend 4-5m on an established experienced champ CB?
Explaining why he played like he was tranquilised at Bramall Lane last season?Binks featured in a short video about our away ket
He is 21 and English. If he spent a season with us and we finished in the top 6 with him being one of our better players he'd easily be worth £10m+I must admit to feeling that this deal, if it happens, has the potential to push the model too far. Fuck me valued at £10m and Doug bids £4m. He's tight as a nun's chuff
