hucks, whelan, paul hall, dietmar, ian Goodwin, Peter Hormantscuk, claus Jorgensen, terry Gibson, Benno, Benno trying to get more '87 lads.
Kirk stephens is managing cov old boys
More ex CCFC players names to add to those revealed and hinted at above will be unveiled in the days before kick off, including we hope (some might call) ‘ three wise men’, all renowned internationals and all combative and passionate player-managers of their era(who ever they are) I'm going for Stuart pearce and Dennie wise plus one other so we'll have to wait and see. We hope to have enticed them to the celebrations but have not yet confirmed.

the highest attendance for a charity/testimonial match at HR/Ricoh is around 25,000 for Dave Busst.
we had a testimonial for Curtis/kearns in 60's but don't think it was that high.

H Rd only had a capacity of 23k back then. But it was a sell out! Cantona's last match.

Quinny said on Talksport yesterday that he hadn't been invited. Any reason why?

I wonder how many that Busst game would have drawn if capacity wasn't an issue.

I'm pretty sure Micky Gynn had more at his than the 10242 for Brian Hill, but perhaps it just fell short.

Cantona's last game as a professional footballer too. Gazza and Ferdinand in Cov colours, Schmeichel desperately diving as far away from Busst's penalty as he could, what a day.

Also, remember Oggy came on as a substitute to play up front. That was hilarious

Edit: Dammit, too slow

I always thought it was classy on Man Utd's part to send their proper first team out too, they could have just chucked the reserves and a few names out if they felt like it.

I think the fact that most of those players who turned out for the friendly were actually there playing for Man Utd when the Busst incident happened. Think many were quite affected and wanted to pay some kind of tribute to him, which was nice.

Telegraph have got Paul Hall listed. When he was still a current player at Walsall he turned out for our Masters team when they had it at the Skydome. Scored a mazy dribble that would have had Ricky Villa purring.

I'm a little bit disappointed in this, was hoping we'd at least be up to about 5,000 by now. Hoping for a good walk up crowd Deano?

Well, its still double the amount of fans that will be at Sixfields, but I agree, was hoping for much more than this by now.
