I've got Ipswich as playing 4 games before we play Wrexham:

Pompey, Boro, Charlton, WBA

that'd give them a maximum of 87 points by KO against Wrexham.

If we beat Blackburn and Pompey we'd be on 91.

maximum Ipswich could get would be 93- Saints and QPR left after that.

So a win v Wrexham would confirm the title in that scenario by giving us 94 pts. It's still totally in our hands. Will edit/delete if that's bollocks!

Is it crazy for me to suggest Boro winning is a good thing as it will mean they are right up for their face off with Ipswich which in turn increases our title hopes even if today decreases our auto hopes?
No. I'd also like to see much less complacency from ourselves next week.

It will be last chance saloon for them. They will need to throw the kitchen sink at that game.

Are they home or away?

I can only imagine the grumbles at the Riverside as the clock ticks down on this one. This is looking like a generational bottle.

For me (especially after today) it's a case of just getting it sealed mathematically. I also think regardless of today's result, Boro will know they have to go all guns blazing v Ipswich. If they are thinking positive they'll know the tough, compressed run in Ipswich have, and if they are being negative they'll be looking at Saints potentially finishing 4th or 5th, so 3rd place still worth fighting for.

Also think that once we know we're up and that pressure is gone, we'll go back to smashing teams. The players (and Frank, who's yet to win anything as a manager and just missed out with Derby and Chelsea) will want the title no doubt, but can't think the nerves will be the same as for the potentially career changing prize of promotion.

Ha ha .Sheff Utd thread again

HT

As always an absolute MASTERCLASS in how an imbecile sot so called manager can TOTALLY destroy a teams season.
They are shite
We are destroyed by Wilder
Creating DESPITE selections formations and antifootball basics 'instructions'.
If I didn't know the imbecile better I would believe HE WAS TRYING TO GET THE SACK
3 years of it and apparently unbelievably IT IS TO CONTINE!
WHY?
HOW?
WHEN can it ever end with his persistent 1/10 F UP?
