Where’s the 4-5 weeks come from then
It's only Cov players who have calf strains who are out for 4 or 5 weeks.

Yeah, wouldn’t disagree with that. In fact that’s how I’m looking at the final 8 games. 2 game chunks where we just need to win one of them. No problem with people who are worried though. Everyone wants this so badly and who can blame us!The point is we can lose half our games and easily do it now.
The overreaction is more worry than anything else. We're sitting very pretty.
So tomorrows games of importance are
Blackburn vs Boro 12:30
Ipswich vs Millwall 12:30
Sheffield Wed vs Hull 3:0
Blackburn still could get drawn in to relegation battle.
Ipswich Millwall draw I guess is best result. As Ipswich still have game in hand.
Hull need to win to have any chance of Autos but looks tough.
Really? The feeling we’re gonna throw it away is strong
What if the messaging function stops working though!?Pete, maybe you should private message Matt Smith. You two throwing worst case scenarios at each other might be therapeutic.
LOL - he was a real coup for us.Tbf Lampard didn't have a brilliant record when you appointed him.
Don't get me wrong, it wasn't rubbish either, it was merely "ok" with a few decent little periods.
Sometimes a manager just "fits" a club (like Wilder does with the Blades, whereas he's been fairly crap most other places) "gets" the fanbase (whose positivity is absorbed by the players) has a good chairman who'll back him BUT keep his nose out of football affairs (Are you listening Brum?) and is a man who the players respect and buy into the ethos of either due to his former career or his intellect and man-mamagement abilities.
Plus it also seems Frank has (though starting slow) actually learned from his management experience, which some coaches do more than others (Indeed some barely learn at all and they don't tend to have a career beyond a decade long)
Their delusion is off the scale. They’ll bottle it again this year.Yes Lampard is just an OK coach and a great fit for us.
Hes not an Excellent coach like Hellberg who would suit most teams in the country.
It blows my mind how 'Hellball' is genuinely how we were playing for half a season but it's treated like a tactical innovation.Their delusion is off the scale. They’ll bottle it again this year.
No, your assumption that that's what I meant by my post, by just taking a tongue in cheek bit of nonsense comment by a completely different poster as supposedly a gospel description of it is off the scale.Their delusion is off the scale. They’ll bottle it again this year.
State of this
They areThey wouldn't be saying that if their beloved Derby were near the top - twats
If only Carlton Morris had been fit all season ehThey wouldn't be saying that if their beloved Derby were near the top - twats

Think Hellberg said they have asked for the views of a few specialists. Sounds to me like they didn't like the initial prognosis.Hackney possibly out for two weeks with calf injury according to Hellberg at his presser. Unsurprisingly he was quite vague
Depends what you mean by 'importance'. You surely don't think Hull are in any way a threat to us?So tomorrows games of importance are

They aren't - they are in the Play-Off huntThey are
I’m on about your fanbase as a whole rather than yourself and the general attitude to Lampard from the media vs Hellberg. No, your assumption that that's what I meant by my post, by just taking a tongue in cheek bit of nonsense comment by a completely different poster as supposedly a gospel description of it is off the scale.
I've actually been complimentary about both Cov and Frank. Have pretty much since I started posting on here, I'm not the type to just spout unfounded crap about another club just to get a reaction.
Bit of banter is ok, but I don't tend to live life as a deluded fan, I leave that to the Skunks up the A19 usually.
Agree with your other post mind you, getting Lanpard was a great result for you, he's tailor made for your club and has learned as he's gone along with jobs beforehand.
I have been going since 1963 so certainly know the ups and downs of CCFC.
For more years than I can remember it was a case of, if you can’t find buy a win for love or money visit cov and they will give you one for free.
This time feels different somehow ( though I don’t know about planning open top bus parades etc).
I just feel this is it. I get to go up with my grandsons (all 5 of them) and watch them see us play the big boys in the premier league.
I want that before I snuff it, I still say we ain’t there till we are 7 points clear with 2 games left. But for 2 teams to overtake us now, it just isn’t a bet any sensible bloke would take.
It blows my mind how 'Hellball' is genuinely how we were playing for half a season but it's treated like a tactical innovation.

There was a video about him being the next PL genius - could get a bit awkward. It blows my mind there's something called hellball.
Utter nonsense.
Yeah completely get thisThat’s how I feel: perhaps because my first game was also in 1963 (Sunderland in the cup) so we have both seen over 60 years of our ups and downs.
Like you, I want it so badly before I pop my clogs that I will inevitably have a sense of nervous excitement until the deed is actually done. I do think we will be promoted but I can’t help having that tiny bit of nagging doubt.
To be fair, the media loves a good catchphrase. If Frank's surname was Blizzard or Kray, it would be Blitzball or Krazyball that would be the buzzword of the day. Kim just happens to have a good surname to hang a bit of decent footie on. It could easily be used to hang him if his team were playing crap.It blows my mind there's something called hellball.
