I honestly don’t get it. Wrexham are one of the oldest clubs in the uk and would never in reality have achieved anything without a big cash injection.
A lot of the cash also is being used for regeneration around the ground.
In reality it’s no different to someone like Jack Walker buying the PL title with Blackburn.
It’s nothing like the Birmingham consortium who are trying to make it some kind of NFL franchise opportunity but even they will create some massive regeneration if the project happens.

Echo someone else really for me. Wrexham will spend big if they go up, which may hinder us. That's the main reason we should want them to stay down.
Can't stand the media love in either though. The fawning from Sky is particularly cringeworthy. Having the owners commentating on a sky channel is ridiculous and probably verging on disrespectful to Swansea. As for the fairytale stuff, because they've come from non league to championship playoffs.... give over.

Don't want them to come up because they'll spend and Im not keen on the media love in.
But as Ive said before, know a few of their support, (related to some), who were there when they had owners who gave sisu a run for their money so delighted for them.
Can think of plenty of clubs with far worse owners.

Well Gibson tried once to get us relegated from the PL for breaking rules, he’s tried to sue another club while breaching rules himself yet assumes some strange moral high ground which fans seem to lap up.

Yeh sure you had a club or two you hated but the rest of clubs you just respected .
I collected pro cards in early 90s and used to love getting card of a hull player on division 3 so don't expect me to hate on clubs now I'm older
You see it with new generation. If they support Liverpool it means they HATE 6 other rival clubs and all the European giants. Same goes if arsenal or man u etc
I find it quite sad tbh. I will bring my kids up to respect other clubs and be able to converse with opposition fans rather than just say "your shit"

I find it sad we have to lavish praise on clubs who in my view are everything wrong with modern football and take it away from being the sport I grew up loving. To each his own, you just aren’t going to find me praising teams who use cheat codes to speed through the pyramid.
What we are on the verge of doing is far more impressive precisely because nobody’s done us any favours on the way up. On the contrary, we’ve done it having had to overcome all sorts of hurdles. Yet if those twats go up too, you know who will get more media focus.

Oh come on. It's obvious what I mean. Football fans were obsessed with the sport as a whole. I would take great pleasure in reading the history of the European cup past winners or watching aidre Vs rangers in Scottish cup. Doesn't mean I had to sit there and praise those clubs I just didn't hate them
