No matter how poorly or hopefully well we do , id be so excited if we go up
I can’t fathom anyone who wouldn’t

Fair, all subjective. They weren’t that grim. Football itself in that era was pretty low on quality but you still had the games when you were against the best that’s on offer.
Me neither, but i also get the expectation that the journey may be more fun than the destinaton.I can’t fathom anyone who wouldn’t
Whatever his fee was it's likely that a significant amount of it is based on appearances, and other performance related conditions
A Forest season ticket holder has told me, quite recently, that on balance the Premier League hasn't been particularly enjoyable.
He's eternally grateful that he's been able to see them turning Liverpool over with his father. But overall its been pretty miserable once you break through the "best in the world" marketing hype.
I grew up with us struggling in the top league so it wouldn't be an issue for me...... VAR is the killer.... whats the point in going to live games if you can't particularly celebrate a goal in the moment
Well, it’s been exciting this season even for a neutral. Recent years with parachute clubs dicking over the rest however, I don’t think so.Me neither, but i also get the expectation that the journey may be more fun than the destinaton.
I want us to go up, obviously, and succeed at as high a level as possible for as long as possible, but I also think that, all things considered, there probably isn't as exciting a league anywhere as the Championship.
Good quality, well supported clubs with dedicated, local fanbases, highly competitive and utterly relentless.
Will the teams playing us and the standard of football be higher? Yes. Will it be as much fun? That remains to be seen.
It's weird.
I'm a lifelong supporter of the Sky Blues, yet I woke up this morning having metamorphosed into a QPR fan.

9Put 11 men in front of the goal
And they couldn't defend long balls all the game when we played against them.
I bet Ayling still sees haji in his nightmares after that game
I watched the lower teams in the premier league and a lot of time they are dire and often say to the wife city can beat these! If we set our stall out to beat what we should/could do i believe we could scrape enough points to hang in thereMe neither, but i also get the expectation that the journey may be more fun than the destinaton.

Have thought about this. If we're looking for signs we will be promoted then the greatest manager in my lifetime helping stop Ipswich overtaking us has to be up thereAgent Robins will do us a favour tonight!!
Had a listen to his interview yesterday, it was certainly a little down beat, threadbare squad etc. They've been dire - a draw is probably the best we can hope for.
Fair, all subjective.
Only Cov fans could have their team top of the league, on course to get promoted to the Prem for the first time since the turn of the century, and complain that they dont want to get there.
If we go up it needs to be with a view to staying up rather than dropping down again. This notion that we’d do a Derby etc has to be shaken off.I want to to be as high up the food chain as possible, there is an enjoyment in that. Fewer clubs can poach off us and more clubs we can poach from. One of the 20 best teams in the country and in the highest quality most popular league in the world. I have so many problems with the Prem but i can't see why you wouldn't want that for the club.
What does that supposed to mean? These are great guys.
Parachute clubs have a big advantage, but the paly offs open it up, too.Well, it’s been exciting this season even for a neutral. Recent years with parachute clubs dicking over the rest however, I don’t think so.
It’s actually just a poorer version of the top flight.
He thinks people are making excuses for a failed signing. What does that supposed to mean?
He also signed Dion Dublin, the best player I've seen play for us.Under Phil Neal we also finished 11th in his only full season as manager
exactly. For a long time it seemed impossible due to our own financial/ownership mess and the perpetual PL/championship yoyo of most seasons at last 2 of the 3 relegated clubs went straight back up due to their financial advantage. No matter how poorly or hopefully well we do , id be so excited if we go up
What does that supposed to mean?
I think he must have been part of the negotiating team, he seems to know all the details. He thinks people are making excuses for a failed signing.

Be nice , just cant see it with their injuries and thomas being sent off last game .. hope you are rightRobins sneaking points away from a promotion chasing side on a Tuesday night at home is very him.
I wouldn't rule them out for a draw.
Your post needed a comma.Top English would read again.
What’s the obsession with Markelo for?Top English would read again.
I think it's unlikely but I wouldn't rule it out.Be nice , just cant see it with their injuries and thomas being sent off last game .. hope you are right
What’s the obsession with Markelo for?
Is it the only thing you can find to be critical about given the position we’re in?

If he'd played clearly not up to match fitness it'd be criticised as a desperate move for a promotion chasing team
It's not to avoid criticism of the signing, it's making the point that it is far too early to be able to criticise or praise the signing. Come on, you're not an idiot, you can see that. The obsession is with posters on here coming up with the most hilarious nonsense to avoid any criticism of the signing.
The obsession is with posters on here coming up with the most hilarious nonsense to avoid any criticism of the signing. Nothing to do with football just the endless stream on people on here willing to make themselves look silly amuses me as it always has.
It happens all the time with some posters and then they have the nerve to say it's other posters who look sillyIt's not to avoid criticism of the signing, it's making the point that it is far too early to be able to criticise or praise the signing. Come on, you're not an idiot, you can see that.
He may well be dog shit, but we need to allow for that to be proved before passing a judgement.

When was the last time we spent any decent money on anyone not expected to make an immediate impact then? It’s not too early though is it? As proven by the fact none of you can come up with a similar signing who failed to make the squad in their first month as much as him. That’s just a get out. Like the “match fitness” nonsense because he has two weeks off two and a half months ago, like the desperate “maybe the reports of the fee are out by an order of magnitude”.
Honestly nothing amuses me more on this site than the crew who argue with everything I say regardless of how stupid the arguments have to be.
It is notable that he cost a lot and can’t get in the squad. Just say it, nothing bad will happen.
