Someone like Hojberg?Any team that can make a marquee experienced Prem signing that gets promoted has a chance. But that was a great coup by them.

No where near done.I don’t think 6th is done yet.
I think Hull will shit the bed at some point, yes they're winning games but you have to think that xG catches up with them so potentially 2 berths in the play offs.I think it could be but it’s the only potential spot if someone outside goes on a manic run now and someone slips. Everyone in the top 6 bar Boro are starting to grind wins now.
in 5th!Imagine where we’d be without those 4 wins
Lose it and we need to win at Portman Road as a minimum, IMHO, with a straight out results scrap in the rest.If Boro lose that then Ipswich would have to fuck up to not get second
I think we are best suited as we can do the passing style and the dogged style which you guys can’t do.Lose it and we need to win at Portman Road as a minimum, IMHO, with a straight out results scrap in the rest.
I've never really considered the title as promotion is far more important, but it's not really a race any more anyway, realistically with the GD we'd have to win our game in hand then overhaul your points from the remaining 11 games by 6 points and you're in decent form. It's not happening.
Ditto with Ipswich being a threat to you IMHO too, they'd have to do what we have to, PLUS winning another game in hand for them too. I already think it's just a battle for second. You've not quite got the title sewn up yet, but the fat lass is certainly clearing her throat!
Which I'd be quite happy with getting as we probably have the best playing style of the sides at the top of the champo for games in the Prem as there's much more emphasis on how to play through sides with rapid short passing and moving and also importantly the low block sides and long ball sides which are our hardest opponents are in the minority up there. It's always been about promotion for me.
That’s my wish as well. Hope we get the top spot and honestly don’t want Ipswich to finish second. Wouldn’t mind Boro or Millwall coming up via autos with us. Then will watch the playoffs with some interest. If Wrexham face off against Ipswich in the semis, that could be an interesting tie.Wouldnt it be lovely to be promoted and be able to watch the playoffs nice and relaxed![]()
Congrats on you basic maths skills...now you just have to work on your word skills and people skills, Richard.Insight and analysis generally. I can do 46-35 and 11 x 3 quite easily in my head though so I suppose if all you use excel for is to do basic arithmetic then yes it would be revolutionary (ok that time I did mean to be a dick)

It's always been about promotion for me. We'd potentially look to play and perform like Leeds under Bielsa up there. Concede a fair few, but use our skillset and methods to score a lot too, without as much of the long ball, low block and barging power to fear (though it would be prudent to get a few more big lads for set pieces!)
However to actually get there we have to battle through a whole lot of sides who play like our kryptonite, which makes it very hard to do so!![]()
It’s a strange old game. The gap between you and us is pretty much the same as it was before you hit form and overtook us.Lose it and we need to win at Portman Road as a minimum, IMHO, with a straight out results scrap in the rest.

Ipswich have 4 more games to manage these potential suspensions
Lets hope you go up with us as it will show the rest of the football community it can be done without parachute payments on top of which the arrogance of some of the parachute teams is obvious with an attitude of they have a god given right on promotion like they are a premiership team.Lose it and we need to win at Portman Road as a minimum, IMHO, with a straight out results scrap in the rest.

What's the context? I'm confused
Leeds did under Bielsa. Wolves, Bournemouth and Fulham did when they went up too. So did Forest and Sunderland look like doing so this year, though tbf the last 2 at least had the HUGE investment you've mentioned.Playing that way as a newly promoted side is suicide, we’ve seen Kompany’s Burnley side collapse, we’ve seen Martin’s Southampton collapse. Playing expansive football doesnt work unless you invest heavily, its a big difference from a top Championship player to your alright Prem player.
Sides that tend to do the best coming up build a strong foundation and soak up pressure and play counter attacking football.
I think anyone who goes up needs significant investment no one can come up keep their team and style and just stay up
