If autos does happen, which I'm sure it will, it will be lovely to be able to watch the playoffs without any stress.
I was thinking this yesterday. Watching the tears, the stress, the agony, the elation, the pressure, all from the comfort of the sofa with a nice cup of tea and a biscuit. Lovely stuff.

Birmingham annoyingly the ones to watch for the Top 6 as it stands - I think they will do what we did last season, get in and fall just short before having a proper go next season

Another team where their away form that’s held them back. Their recent uplift away from home was against teams in the bottom half around the relegation zone.

Remaining away games: Millwall, Charlton, Derby, Ipswich, Hull and Pompey.

It’s a tough blend and I’d back them to lose 3-4 of those alone. There’s a few games that they can help us out with so in a sense, I’ll be hoping they do well in the 4 or so games that directly impact us.

I don't think O'Hare is dislikable at all; he's a bit cheesy, but comes across as a pretty inoffensive character for the most part.

He was an enjoyable player to watch when he was here, and he played a big part in getting us to where we are. Don't think he deserves the grief at all.

I'd have O'Hare back tomorrow if there was an option, even over Hamer.
Would be great competition for Rudoni

If they win a week tonight and get a result at Portman Road they can do what they like for all I care

Is everyone aware of the story behind that scene? It's a fab scene, but Ford was actually supposed to have a sword fight with the bloke, but had diarrhea on the day of filming, so they just had Indie shoot the baddie instead.
We just don’t know how lucky we are in this age of peptobismo do we.

@Brighton Sky Blue, just curious, what is it that you think about that that's laughable?

We both completely agree that what they are doing is bad for the competitive nature of the game, but you can still do that whilst respecting how supporters support clubs, recognising a club's place in an area's community, the history of the club, wider league, etc. They seem to do that.

What they have done in my view is the exact antithesis of respecting the tradition of the game here. Taking out fuck loads of money to blow transfer fees and wages out of proportion to steal promotion from countless other clubs.

Fair enough; completely agree with the negative effect that they are having.

Was thinking of something different with 'respecting the tradition'; I meant I don't think they're likely to want to demand games abroad, put a stop to relegation, or change the name or colours of the club, etc., etc.. It's a low bar, I agree.

There was strong talk of them wanting to play Birmingham in the US. At best, they’ve just added another completely plastic club to the pyramid with ridiculously entitled supporters. They can piss off quite frankly, though I expect they are here to stay.

That will be his season finished most likely.

Quelle Surprise, Not that I take any joy from it mind you - He has lasted longer than usual with no injury

Think Lampard lost his patience with him first game of the season where he come on and was subbed off 15 mins later

Still maintain we got a cracking fee for him considering his injury record, only thing we did wrong was sell him too late to get a replacement - If only we got Frank in Aug I suppose:(

The thought of having had Onyeka here from that point onwards…damn.

That was last season's el Plastico. Wasn't it Birmingham wanting it, and Wrexham dismissing it?

That's how I remember it, but I may be wrong.

ETA: they can piss off, and no doubt 80% of their fans are Disney plastics, but the club itself is an old institution with a decent sized and loyal fanbase for the levels they've generally been at; it's not the club itself that's plastic (same as with Bournemouth). Semantics, I know.

Don’t remember tbh. In any case it’s particularly important we get over the line this season, as those two will amp up their piss taking in the summer and be right up there.

To be fair, Onyeka would have been at AFCON anyway while we were going through our trickiest period (so far).

I don't want either of them up with us as their spending power in the Prem will be much greater than ours

Us and Boro would probs cut our cloth accordingly and have similar budgets

So were Man City and Newcastle.
