Blackburn have a lot of injuries
They do. Their problem is they've been dragged into the relegation battle and everyone but WBA, Sheffield Wednesday and themselves are picking up points. If they don't turn it around quickly there will be a gap and not many games left.

We cannot put ourselves in the position of facing Wrexham in the playoffs. The media, the EFL and probably the officials would all be against us in that scenario.
That would be a new Disney fairytale with Oscar’s but you should be publicly flogged for suggesting it

50k a week is madness. This is why we need promotion this season. Wolves, West Ham, Burnley will be too good, Wrexham and Birmingham are spending 50k a week. Thats if you’re ignoring Southampton and likely Leicester resetting

we can’t compete with that
I'm not usually that bothered about the Premier, but the way Birmingham are behaving right now, I am now hoping for the strongest possible three clubs to come down and that they will all be brilliant in the Championship next season.

Let them spend as much as they want if they are buying duds
But are they buying duds? This Spanish guy seems decent considering Ajax want him, and say what you will about Wrexham but they’re hovering around the play off as are Birmingham, If they keep spending there’s a chance that they’ll eventually get it right. I’d also argue that both are a decent manager away from being right up there

Wrexham seem to be buying the right players, but at massively inflated prices (which is why I find them problematic).

Birmingham give no indication that they know what they are doing at all. It's all scattergun.

The frustrating thing is that neither are able to outspend their rivals due to success on the pitch, hence why I think they are both bad for competitiveness in football generally (and yes, I am well aware that there are plenty of other examples of clubs doing this).

They’ll both definitely get promoted eventually.
Wrexham seem to have signed far better players this season/ones most suited to how Parkinson wants them to play. It feels that there has at least been some planning to their transfer policy and some level of consistency.

Birmingham on the other hand appear to have been using some sort of roulette based transfer prediction machine. Which given a number of their signings, may be a segment of some whacky Japanese game show.

Wrexham will do, but I'm not sure about Birmingham. I think they're more likely to end up fucked.

Kind of want Wrexham promoted with us just because the sooner they’re in the PL the sooner they’re relegated and the sooner everyone loses interest.

Dan Neil to Ipswich on loan for 6 months.
Ipswich not messing around, clearly.
'Not good enough' for us, according to some experts on here, but McKenna and Ipswich clearly think he is good enough.
