I still can't believe we only scored 1 goal against Norwich off 4 xG, they owe use a freebie next week
The goals are coming back, our xG is moving back in the direction we want it. We’ve hit 2+ xG in back to back games.

2/6 big chances converted too, so we could’ve really put Millwall to the sword today.

I know a chance is a chance but Haji goal v Leicester was nearly 1 xg and esse goal today was over 1 xg with the Haji header and then the rebound.

We're getting a few massive chances where we couldn't miss really, rather than multiple really good chances.

If Jordan James is properly injured (let’s say 1-2 months out) might as well stick a fork in Leicester, he’s been carrying them on his back whenever I’ve seen them.

Can't believe West Brom went for an MLS manager after the Diddy experiment at Celtic. Look way worse than they did even under Mason.
Hilarious if they go down, as long as its not in Leicesters place.

That was the case earlier in the season too, Simms has scored two goals that were 1.94 xG combined. Same with BTA v Sheff U and Haji v Sheff W. During December, the narrative was ‘we’ve dropped off, xG is down’ and when it recovers we put an asterisk on it.

Last night we had 4 big chances and missed 3 of them. Haji’s chance before the Esse goal is one and two, but Esse later missed a 0.5 xG chance and BTA missed a 0.35 xG chance in stoppage time. By contrast, Millwall’s goal was 0.28 and Ivanovic missed a big chance at 0.29 xG in the second half.

Chance creation-wise, last night was a big step in the right direction.

Blunts and Leicester demonstrating that even though the prem will give you crazy amounts of money you still need to keep your house in order
Leicester were trying to break into the top 5, so I can sort of see how it went wrong for them. Not sure what happened at Sheffield United though, though having said that a lot of their bigger money signings flopped and made huge losses.
