Given that the last manager poached from the MLS that i'm aware of was P.Diddy at Celtic who was hounded out after about 3 weeks for somehow making the reputation of P.Diddy even worse, i'd be very wary if i was a WBA fan. Hope he does well tonight though.

This chap did pretty well at least and Dennis Lawrence is a decent coach. Stronger appointment than Diddy.

If it does go wrong, WBA are in serious danger of being sucked into a relegation battle

big match tonight. much prefer middlesbrough to west brom. never liked west brom since getting jumped by some of their fans after ndlovu beat them in the fa cup. In an ideal world us and middlesborough going up would be great ( would slightly prefer a team who wouldn't spend as big if they went up). having said that obvs i will be putting all that aside and 100% wanting west brom- and Dennis Lawrence, to win tonight. watched middlesborough a lot over the christmas period and they were playing really well despite not winning (or even scoring until the 4-0). also they seem to be getting the breaks (Hackney should have seen a red and 3 game suspension but somehow didn't).
West Brom were better than Leicester for large parts of the game last time out and deserved at least a point- got absolutely sucker punched at the death. With a new manager and home advantage under the lights I hope they can show enough to take a point or even all 3.

Us and Boro going up together would be nice

But until we are sorted, I do not care one bit and I hope both of them drop as many points as possible

His team’s form significantly dropped off in 2025.
I wouldn't really compare the 2, one is experienced at a coaching level including Chelsea, United and the Welsh Team and 1 was very unexperienced and too stupid to realise forcing players to play a system they aren't suited to isn't a good thing.

Not saying he will do well just he has much more of a coaching background than Nancy.
