and would be an option in the prem.

that's the only angle which would make sense to me. Haven't you been banging the drum pretty hard to go after players to get us over the line, though? Asking a bit much for the club to do that and in the same window, take a punt on a striker from Swedish league that might have the potential to cut it if we went up.

His ceiling is a lot higher than any of the 3 strikers we have, and would be an option in the prem.

I don’t think any of our strikers would be a good option in the Prem. BTA has been brilliant but doesn’t play as a proper 9 anyway, more of a Winger/AM.

I’d be tempted to take a punt on Jovon Makama (young prospect) and another (main striker) if we did go up. He looks a real prospect and has the physicality and pace to match. Not to mention being 6ft5 always helps

Well I'm just being realistic, ideally we would be doing both but I know that Doug is very tight with his money.

Therefore the priority would be getting those to get us over the line.

Ideally we should be signing the likes of Priske alongside those to get us over.

Whoscored seems to be a team rating as much as a player rating from this so our players being at the top is hardly surprising or evidence of much on an individual level.

Not sure how this disproves what I’m saying. They both use Opta stats in some unspecified way. Torp scores lots because he plays in a team that was breaking scoring records. Torp in another team would have worse stats.

Individual player performance drives team performance not the other way around

I’m not sure what you’re trying to say here tbh. If it’s that by being in a winning team you must be a better player I’d refer you to Philosoraptors graphs on here and this page which has our best players by PPG including KKH and Rapha.

It's not scientific, it is a fact that team performance is an aggregate of player performance.

The team generally scores more when Torp’s in it
