Some proper naive folk on here over the last month or so. It was plain to see we were heading down this path. Silly happy clappy stuff, just because we were top. Invincible apparently.

For the record, I still think we may get 2nd place. But this is going to be a grueling slog.

Why can’t people have level headed takes? We lost a close game and we’re on a poor run but nothing is catastrophic (yet).

To be honest the break from league might do the fans some good and make them realise how well this fragile squad has done and how unrealistic it was to expect them to maintain it (without significant additions). I wasn't even confident of play offs to be fair so I'm delighted that is almost certain. Not ruling out second either but I think it is unlikely. The first (nearly) half the season was a beautiful combination of virtually every player hitting their best form, some luck (about time) and the rest of the competition struggling to get their arse in gear.
All those things are changing

Completely agree and we’re Cov-never going to be easy.

Ball’s in our court now tho.

Win the next two Home league games against promotion chasers and things will look more positive.

yeah, we are still top of the league the team in by far the best place to get promoted. Everyone else would love to swap places.
