Their progress on the pitch under Knighthead has been bang bloody average at best, they were stupid enough to fall for American hubris this summer and deluded themselves into thinking they were on for a title charge and they now look ridiculous for it

No doubt they are a better run football club these days but since their takeover on the pitch they have failed, and thus far quite miserably in my opinion

They got promoted with considerable ease last season, and you wouldn't bet against them making the playoffs this.....

I don't think thats a failure..... whatever a section of their fans and ownership might have shouted about.

So they should have done, they purchased a striker worth more than most of the clubs in that division

And I would bet against it, their away form is not sustainable

Yeah so you admit they achieved their goal

You don't have to love Birmingham to admit it's not been a failure lol
The owners took them there in the first place by binning off a manager who was doing fine to appoint Rooney :ROFLMAO:

The fact is, since they took them over they have barely improved as a footballing entity

Good point. Still laugh at Rooney hiring

Tbf they are now in championship with a more recognisable brand(sad but true) and new stadium on way. There are in better place than were before if we're honest

I am worried personally how far they can go so we need to nip it in bud now and hope they don't go up this season and then get constrained by ffp rules

Be interesting to see the outcome of the charging of Bristol City and Millwall for their dust up and ours with Southampton.
For Bristol, I fully expect Knight to get a ban as he ran over and pushed Neil over.
The way we have been punished as virtually the only club to be sanctioned, you wonder what we will get. Godden for the "penalty" dive and Palmer for celebrating on the pitch. How many times have you seen whole benches running on the pitch with nothing done?
Lampard I believe, is a cert for a ban. Edwards too. Quashie should get a sanction but I wouldn't hold your breath.
Maybe just fines. We will see.

How do you propose "we...nip it in the bud now..." 🤔

Wouldn't be surprised if the manager got sacked if they lose to Derby so its hardly going well is it. Most their fans seem to be turning on him too.
If the local paper interview means anything which he's done today I think he maybe looking for a bit of sympathy.
