The stuff at Bradford was a great story with memorable cup runs of course. My point was he wouldn’t have got Wrexham three in a row without this money. The truth is he barely got out of the Conference even with it.

Them doing that also denied other clubs with their own rises up the pyramid…eg Stockport last season. You’re just not going to find me praising what they’ve done and that’s that tbh.
Stockport when they won the league with Paddy Madden banging them in had far more money to spend on players than King's Lynn, Weymouth and Dover who all got relegated. Were they denied winning the league because of this too?

What deflection tactic and how have I been proven wrong? Thanks for the double tag anyway.
Co’mon now… you were being sarcastic calling Parkinson the next Mourinho. Parkinson has had a pretty solid career at L1 level, which is basically the same as Robins before he rejoined us. I don’t realise he got Colchester up so just take the L, give PP where credit is due.

Parkinson deserves his flowers. He’s got himself int a good situation at Wrexham but he’s done a brilliant job for them.

I doubt that he’ll take Wrexham up but I’m sure neutrals felt that way about Robins.

To be fair, what their previous owners did to that çlub was far worse for football, as we found out when a similar shower of wankers rode in to town.
Owners coming in to steady the ship and get rid of wankers, zero problem. Owners who come in and take the piss with finances, no thank you.

Same applies to Birmingham.

Stockport are a far better supported club than those you mention. They may well have gone from the 6th tier to the 2nd last season…

There’s people literally saying Mourinho couldn’t do what he’s done.

Once again no one is asking you praise what Wrexham have done

I'm simply saying Parkinson isn't a bad manager. Do you agree?

What other manager was able to spend what he did in the lower leagues? Nobody, to my recollection.
Aye. It's an achievement, clearly, but the amount they've been able to outspend their rivals, it would have been significant failure not to get their promotions.

Some described him as being 'backed financially' up thread; that's a significant understatement. They've been bank-rolled. It's like turning up for go-karting in a McLaren.

So can you now agree that Phil Parkinson is a good manager? Yes or no?
Why does everything have to be so black and white with you?

He's competent enough to achieve promotion when he can wildly outspend his opponents and is able to bring in players above the level he's playing at.

Beyond that, who can say how good he is.

Keep going…
What?, what kind of response is that. It isn't one so you alter the course. If he hadn't of achieved promotion from non league to championship in consecutive seasons you'd of said he's shit. But he had achieved it and you still say he's shit. I'm not some superfan of his don't particular like him but I think he deserves a slight bit of credit. I'm sure you'll think of something else to change the subject.

Why didn’t they make it up again? A team that took the piss with spending finished higher.

Dalglish had massive amounts at Blackburn when they were the first bank rolled club. He still had to get promotion to the Premiership and then win the Premier league all on Jack Walkers money. He did a great job

I'm not the one going around saying he's a bad manager am I? That's a pretty black and white opinion on the first place

He's been shown to do well even without money so I guess it is possible to say wether he's good or not. Or at the very least admit he's not a bad manager.

Agreed?

Jesus wept. Make it up a division.

Let’s just stop going round in circles anyway, it’s tedious.

Make it up what division. They've been promoted 3 years on the trot

Good grief this is hard work. Stockport made it up from tier 6 to tier 3, and would have completed the return to tier 2 last season except for two clubs taking the absolute piss above them.

Understand?

No, they obviously didn't have a good enough team. That's how football works.
