Have noticed that old ‘the league is poor this year’ nonsense doing the rounds again. Are we really gonna go through all this again?

If the league is so poor why isn’t anyone else winning it?

I think it comes from bitterness from elsewhere, and Cov fans putting ourselves down.

Or maybe we’ve just been the best team in a still very good league. We’ve licked our wounds from the P/O’s and have stepped up.
Except for Norwich there aren't any honking sides in this league, even Sheff Weds despite their troubles have fought hard in every game. The truth is that the Championship is one of the strongest leagues outside of Europe's big 4 and even then I think the best teams in it would be competitive in La Liga/Serie A/Bundesliga.

Surely that argument would make more sense in season's like last season where for the most part the parachute clubs completely blew away the rest of the league?

It's proving to be one of the most competitive seasons the Championship has seen in years which surely is a good thing.

£3-4m compensation...not bad
Handy war chest for Jan- you could get yourself either a Matt Grimes or Patson Daka's toenail clippings for that, depending on your preferred transfer strategy.

Adi doesn't sound like he's ruling it out:

Asked after if he’d have any interest in stepping up to be head coach, Viveash said: “The only thing I'm interested in at the minute is finishing this interview and going to have a glass of red wine. Today is about the players and supporters. Tomorrow, we'll wake up, it'll be another day, life moves on and that's a subject for the club and the powers that be"

“I'm grateful I was given the opportunity and I hope I took it in the right way. Thankfully we've given the fans a good day at the end of a difficult week. And I mean playing as well. We've had three tough games. There was a lot of tiredness anyway but it was a very, very important three points and that's the main thing.”

Adi beating Blues then getting in on the fist pumps. Don't think they'll miss Edwards much tbh, he'll flop at Wolves.

Wonder if Adi still lives near us? May influence his future especially if new manager wants his own staff. Adi has said he wants to be a number 2 in the past.
