So would you rather have Allen/Rapha or O'Hare on the bench as your back up attacking midfield player? Who would give us the best chance of promotion?

I've already said this before...we've got Sheaf, Allen, Eccles, Rapha and Andrews as back up in midfield. If Rudoni is injured, Sheaf or Eccles can play a deeper role and push Torp forward.

I can't believe how many people would rather spend £2m on OHare than put it towards a CB... that's pretty much my main point.

We'd be wasting £2m on a position that we 'can' cover with decent players we've already got but are crying out for at least one new CB and potentially another ST.

That's where we need to spend money on. Not bringing O'Hare back.

I thought blues and Leicester looked poor tbh. That Leicester team won't be up there either. Depth on their bench looks weak and I thought neither Leicester or Birmingham looked to have much in the centre of the park.
Nevertheless Leicester have 9 pts from 4 games though till last night fairly easy games, don't write them off yet they're not in such disarray as some would make out.

A) it’s theoretical.
B) don’t make out it’s one or the other. We could easily do both (albeit may have to compromise on Woolfenden rather than Hughes).

It doesn't 'mean little' let's just stop talking about football should we?

In the case of Leicester their depth is poor, and their midfield is weak. If winks/skipp get injured they are very very light. Up top is probably their only area of strength.

They have played 2 promoted teams, and Sheff wed so far. Probably an even easier start than we have had, so the eye test is probably a good thing to use in the championship thread in order to talk about them.

Birmingham, I think will be closer as they will get some good results, team is actually pretty good if they get a good CM in
Means little as in terms of predicting how a team will finish, not that it’s not worth discussing

A) I know...so is all transfer talk on here...doesn't stop hundreds of pages of it!

B) I'm not. But the preference needs to be a CB. Surely that's clear?

It wouldn't make sense to bring him back, we might as well of spent the 2m on his new wage contract last year

Not sure whether I want Boro to compound Sheff U misery to force Hamer out, or a draw so Boro dont run away with it

Morgan Whitaker looking really useful for Boro. A real handful.
Boro looking really good. Moving the ball really quickly with quality.

How has Peck not walked for that there?!?! Thats a horrendous tackle!

I do genuinely think there'll be at least 1 spot in the top 2 up for grabs (ie, not taken buy the usual parachute certs). There's no reason we can't take it, but I feel Boro will be our biggest competition for it. If we both fail, they'll be to ones to beat in the play-offs! Look really sharp, well drilled and hungry.

*they look like an Adi Viveash team. Working and hunting together off the ball, breaking quickly with it. Exciting, if not a little erratic.
