No hatred towards Swift but funny how you can be the biggest pop star on the planet now and not really have more than a couple of recognisable hits that cut thought to the whole population.

The only axe I have against Swift is not the music but the ridiculous coverage every time the Chiefs played and she was there, especially at SB, was nauseating.

Bit weird that you hold that against her. She went to watch her fella play. Not a whole lot wrong with that.

Not at all. You're missing my point, it's not about her directly, but the media coverage of her, eg whether she would make it back in time from a particular concert on the other side of the globe, then constant screen images of her in the box. I tuned in to watch the game only. Probably akin to constant images of Posh Spice if you were watching United back in the day.

I dislike the same thing whatever the sport - F1 directors cutting to a driver's GF is the worst - but it's not on her is it? Don't think she's sending DMs to the director asking for the camera to pan to her box.

Shame Wilder's gone. Would have been great to have another season of him making the Blades a weaker squad by blowing their transfer kitty on bad signings.

He's a good man manager and let's be fair, did a great job to have them competing with Leeds and Burnley given they didn't really have a squad in pre season. His signings are very hit and miss though. It'll be hilarious if they appoint O'Neil, a huge backwards step.

Wilder has been very good at Sheffield United in two separate spells. If they sack him after last season they need their heads examining. Seles is a good manager who was treated badly by poor owners at Reading and Hull, I’d be wary of joining another set of volatile bosses at Sheffield. Objectively, O’Neill would be perfect and hilarious. Seriously weakening them.

Pompey being pretty inventive with their recruitment. Signed a few from Australian football recently and about to sign another.

Clever teams like ourselves have found a lot of value into under appreciated leagues like the J league and the Danish divisions recently but Pompey seem to be the first to focus their recruitment in Australia.

All leagues are worth a look as of course good players all have to start somewhere, don't think i'd be going too heavily in on the Australian market though, its extremely poor and i think even a standout player over there would be a 'project' player to an extent.

Not according to my Pompey scouts they ain’t. The central defender they got in is very useful apparently.

Had yer man Yengi who looked good in league 1 but got injured. Has come back the size of a house towards the end of last season and subsequently been released.

My scouts are two of the most cynical miserable fans I know. Saying players are ‘alright’ is a ringing endorsement.

Central defender played 6 games and cost them nearly £2m quid. Not exactly pulling up trees.

Yengi has signed for Aberdeen which isn't a bad move

Not for him…

I’ve seen him a few times and when he looked fit it looked like he had potential ie mobile, decent skills, big and aggressive.
Saw him again towards the end of last year when he came on as a sub for the last 20 mins. He was massive and jogged about a bit. I don’t think he touched the ball.
