Mexican stand off. He’s waiting for the owners to sack him and pay up his contract. They are waiting in the hope that he jumps ship to another club before they have to cough up.

Could be a load of rubbish but seen a few Leicester fans suggest that they are waiting a few weeks to sack him as paying him off wouldn't fall under the season just gone's PSR

I hadn’t really thought about him still being there? Do you think they’ll want him?

Either way works better for us/the rest of league if they are looking for a new manager in July when everyone else is is back training

It sounds like the fans are more annoyed at the board than RVN. With the potential of a big points deduction & limited budget I’d be surprised if there were many top class candidates interested in replacing him if he did go

There will always be a lot of interest for a Championship club no matter how much trouble it is in.

Jobe Bellingham: Borussia Dortmund agree £31m deal to sign Sunderland midfielder

Borussia Dortmund agree a deal with Sunderland to sign Jobe Bellingham for an initial 32m euros (£26.96m) plus 5m euros (£4.2m) in add-ons.

Wow! £31M for Jobe Bellingham, more than Vik.

Clearly, think he will be as good as his brother. Bob Hope and no hope. How much is Rudoni worth in comparison?

He isn't anywhere near as good as his brother. Very interested to see how he progresses )or otherwise) It's a good/great deal for Sunderland imo.

His brother didn't look very impressive when we played the Blues, but he is certainly world class now, so never say never, but I do think they've paid for the name

Yes my comments were wrongly arranged. They think he will be as good as his brother. I don't think so.

Jude was 3 years younger when playing for us. By Jobe’s age he was Dortmund’s star player. Can’t see Jobe getting to the same level, but he’ll definitely be a decent level player.

He isn’t but he’s still a good player IMO. Not sure why people keep saying he’s shite. I think he’ll really kick on at Dortmund.

I'm not saying he's poor, but if he was called Jobe Smith, he'd be about half that price, and that's at a push.

Any club that is targeting both Russell Martin, Danny Rohl AND Sean Dyche for the next manager's job obviously has a clear vision in place for the style of football they want to play

A vindictive 12 point deduction should really say a justified or pitifully low

Fuckers crying victim again, always someone else’s fault! I would have sympathy for them if they weren’t such cheating, classless fucking six- fingered scumbags.
Did they really think they would go unpunished again? The League re-wrote the rules (again) to prevent them abusing them, just like admin rules were changed after their mockery of them.
Every penalty they get, they will deserve, hopefully a transfer embargo and 12 points deduction.

They came down from the prem 2 years ago with probably the highest paid squad in championship history and retained the majority of the players knowing full well they were in breach of PSR. It's clear they were expecting to get promoted and stay up so this would all go away.

Fuck them, they deserved more than 12 points deducted as it was massive up yours to the EFL and the rest of the teams in the championship that season.

It’s about time Leicester got what’s coming to them. They have spent years cheating the system and got away with it

Laughed at a report that Man City have signed 33yo Bettinelli (apologies if spelling is wrong) as back up goalkeeper.
It says he hated his time on loan at Middlesborough, when he confessed he didn't play that well. It says it was during the 2000/01 season, which, if my maths is correct, would have made him 8 years old. Very harsh to throw a kid on at that age, and ask him to play in goal at that level .
