Yep, that's when Ipswich's game is finally rearranged for. Which makes me and plenty of my co-supporters happy as the proverbial pigs in shit as we play them on the weekend immediately afterwards

Unlike the overwhelming majority of our last 7 opponents of our drop in form who had more preparation time than we did for each of our fixtures against them thanks to Sky (5 had more days to prepare, up to a ludicrous 5 days more for Oxford, only Brum had a day less, coinciding with the one match KH managed to shift our strategy, take them by surprise with it and instill it into the players) from here on in we get the same time to prepare for 7 of our 8 fixtures AND in this match we finally have another where get longer again. thanks to the Tractor's Pompey postponement!

Not saying they wouldn’t do it, but they’d legit have to buy 22 players if they got promoted. Pretty much Moore, O’Brien and possibly Hyam that could hold their own in the PL.

Hyam absolutely no way. O'Brien struggled at Forest.

But you didn't say you wanted to finish first rather than second as that is obvious, so you can't add the adage of "Oh but you get promotion too." As that would be your saying both the trophy and promotion are better than just promotion, which is obvious, but you didn't say that. You said the trophy was more important than the promotion, which is tosh. The promotion and 200M is the BIG prize. The trophy is nice too, but a mere bonus by comparison.

So again, you'd take the trophy but disqualification from the Prem, over a guaranteed finish in the autos and promotion? As if not, it's clear which of the two rewards is MORE important, even to you.

Being ‘on the nest’ and then a question of who finishes first or second?……. Dear matron this is a football forum…
