If this is a genuine picture [I'm skeptical of some postings online], then Ipswich are idiots to get drawn into politics.
May be reading between the lines too much, but he has hinted at people at the club have told him there is going to be a managerial vacancy in the summer…
The nearest seat is held by that racist piss head Neil Coyle isn't it
Isn't he a season ticket holder and been a fan for years?Starmer has been "Hawking around" Arsenal Football Club for many years.
You understand there's a difference between promoting the club's community programme, which you may expect the local MP to be involved with (even if they are unsavoury), to allowing a politician a shameless publicity stunt for no reason other than they are an attention seeker, though, don't you?I was going to say - the Labour racist thug Coyle fits right in with Millwall but I guess that’s ok

He is a c**t, but that's not the point. It's not comparable to Ipswich and Farage.I understand coyle was suspended by parliament for racist comments. Oh and oddly he’s not even their local Mp
yep, I guess I've been hawking around Cov for yearsIsn't he a season ticket holder and been a fan for years?

He's MP in a constituency very much within Millwall's catchment area, and which Millwall's community programme will no doubt serve. You said it was not odd for their local MP to be involved. He isn’t their Mp

So your point is?

The issue is it shouldn't have happened. They should keep politics out of football, so I am not sure why it was seen as a good decision to be there. Just completely pointless and doesn't help anyone. I would say the same if it was any political party. You go to the football to get away from all that shit.
That said, the references to Reddit (one of the internets biggest cesspits) and all this talk about them being divisive - they are leading in the polls. There are reasons for that and scoffing at it is not going to help. Farage and co are a reaction. The cause of that needs attention, rather than just calling people racist and morons, which is what I am seeing on this thread. It is like people have learned nothing.
I mean who would have thought the MP for Bermondsey and Old Southwark may also have links to the team most of his constituents support."Look at this straw man I've made and don't address this"

How many have had a base to do shoots of a bloke sitting in a dressing room.
Not sure they can claim to be apolitical when he was signing the shirt to the club owner

Agreed. Would feel horrible if cov something like thisAh yes “apolitical”we all know what that really means…
As much as Ipswich have been annoying this season, I do actually feel sorry for their fans here.

let’s be honest if the club hosted jeremy corbyn, keir starmer or anthony charles lyndon blair certain posters would feel very different about the situation
Nope I'm definitely a "lefty" the beauty of football is it brings everyone together with one thing to support.let’s be honest if the club hosted jeremy corbyn, keir starmer or anthony charles lyndon blair certain posters would feel very different about the situation
I think there’s definitely bias towards people and their political beliefs (me included)let’s be honest if the club hosted jeremy corbyn, keir starmer or anthony charles lyndon blair certain posters would feel very different about the situation
You would be pissing your pants if the club hosted StarmerWould they? You seem to be suggesting I have an affinity to Farage? Well you don’t - you are just trolling of course. We have hosted Roy Hattersley and Michael Foot - we also of course used to be part owned by one of Peter Mandlesons chums
More significantly we supported a man who beat women up and we welcomed him
You would be pissing your pants if the club hosted Starmer
