If this is a genuine picture [I'm skeptical of some postings online], then Ipswich are idiots to get drawn into politics.
Football clubs are centres of communities and unite their populations in supporting their club - regardless of politics, social economic background, race, religion etc.

I was going to say - the Labour racist thug Coyle fits right in with Millwall but I guess that’s ok

You understand there's a difference between promoting the club's community programme, which you may expect the local MP to be involved with (even if they are unsavoury), to allowing a politician a shameless publicity stunt for no reason other than they are an attention seeker, though, don't you?

He is a c**t, but that's not the point. It's not comparable to Ipswich and Farage.

He's MP in a constituency very much within Millwall's catchment area, and which Millwall's community programme will no doubt serve.

So your point is?

They should keep politics out of football, so I am not sure why it was seen as a good decision to be there. Just completely pointless and doesn't help anyone. I would say the same if it was any political party. You go to the football to get away from all that shit.

That said, the references to Reddit (one of the internets biggest cesspits) and all this talk about them being divisive - they are leading in the polls. There are reasons for that and scoffing at it is not going to help. Farage and co are a reaction. The cause of that needs attention, rather than just calling people racist and morons, which is what I am seeing on this thread. It is like people have learned nothing.

The issue is it shouldn't have happened.

Reform and now restore being popular is definitely an issue that the left refuse to address properly and make worse I agree with you.

I mean who would have thought the MP for Bermondsey and Old Southwark may also have links to the team most of his constituents support.

I know... let's take it to the political thread, where everyone who wants to bang on/w@nk off about politics can do so. All of them are c*nts. Let's talk about how shit Leicester are with their 'Premier League' squad.

The reality is Farage has clearly managed to create a situation he wants to be talked about. He’s targeting East Anglia and especially Suffolk council - the bottom line is more people who attend most football matches you’d assume based on national polling - are more likely to vote for him than any other individual.

The area is prime reform territory. It seems pretty obvious he wants controversy and he wanted to be thrown out as it would have helped the campaign. Is the shirt AI generated? No idea. Even if it isn’t - what would you actually do? Not make one? Then what? Well he’d show Barnier getting an Arsenal shirt id imagine.

He has played Ipswich a bit and today this forum has discussed reform more than our actual club.

Whose the winner?

Ah yes “apolitical” we all know what that really means…

As much as Ipswich have been annoying this season, I do actually feel sorry for their fans here.

Would they? You seem to be suggesting I have an affinity to Farage? Well you don’t - you are just trolling of course. We have hosted Roy Hattersley and Michael Foot - we also of course used to be part owned by one of Peter Mandlesons chums

More significantly we supported a man who beat women up and we welcomed him

Nope I'm definitely a "lefty" the beauty of football is it brings everyone together with one thing to support.

Look around the CBS I have no doubt there's loads of reform supporters in the crowd but on Saturday no one gives a fuck what party you support just what team.

I think there’s definitely bias towards people and their political beliefs (me included)

But we aren’t Dulwich Hamlet. Club should be truly apolitical which means you don’t allow them to conduct photo-shots in your changing rooms or chairman ask for a signed kit.

Given he’s the only prime minister in my memory who gets random chants during games calling him a wanker I think it wouldn’t be me pissing my pants. I’d welcome it and ask him to stand on the pitch and do a rendition of the Sky Blue Song - actually he could start the Live and Die chorus

You are really struggling here

General Election

But that's exactly the same as not remaining inside the customs union, and leaving the single market. How so?

If fairness, if Doug hosted an evening with Anthony Charles Lyndon Blair, I would probably buy a ticket.
