We must remember though lads, Ipswich are likely to win every game for the rest of the year

They certainly didn’t look like a team vying for a place in the automatic promotion places.

Poor forwards or not have to believe sooner or later these chances get finished? Obviously easier for me than a boro fan to say but I think you will get winning again soon

The law of averages alone point to it.

If they continue to get missed much more, then it's time to bring on Cruz Ibeh IMHO, a local kid from our youth side now getting on the bench, such has been his impact on the kids' team, then tearing it up in the under 21s.

If he manages to score them and keep doing so (and he scores plenty from all over in the kids' games, so essentially it's being able to do exactly the same just against a better keeper) then he'd probably start and keep starting.

You'd have to think it would be a tad embarrassing for Conway/Strelec though, for full internationals aged 23/24 to be kept out of the team by a lad who only finished his GCSEs 9 months ago.

It’ll be a bitter pill to swallow for whoever ends up 3rd and having to deal with the playoffs, given all the missed opportunities Boro and Ipswich have had to consolidate that second place.

Lol any need for such nonsense?

They were better team for most tof the game Vs the 4th placed team who are also in autos hunt

If Millwall and Ipswich are still in with a shout of catching us, are Southampton now in a position to make a run for 2nd spot?

They have 7 winnable fixtures including Ipswich at home, so is it still doable for them?

Did wonder that myself but think they've left themselves too much to do.
They're in great form though so you'd think they have a great shout in the play offs.

I also been saying for a while that that game, and Norwich away, are games I expect Ipswich to drop points in

West Brom seeing how badly that went then ploughing on regardless with their own MLS appointment was pretty mind boggling as well

They were the better team for large parts of the game v Stoke but came under pressure and conceded late in both games. Fatigue?

Absolute bonus for us today and playing last!
If I was the team captain today in the pre huddle I'd be saying "here we go boys...fantastic opportunity, we can put a lot of distance between the chasing two if we win today, it's within sight - come on"

I knew there was another (there’s probably a few eg whoever was at Norwich)…and couldn’t think who.
Yep, we seemingly played them again just in the nick of time.

You'd want to avoid those dirty south coast cheats in the play offs. Think Millwall would deal with them the best.

Could be pressure. Looked like their crowd were silent at the end, no one else reacts like that if they draw with the team directly below them so maybe the weight of expectation.

Looking at the stats, it looks like Leicester have been on top of Watford all game, would love them to lose it in the last minute

QPR 5-1 up vs Portsmouth

I’ll be expecting us to put a similar beating on them in a few weeks.
