I need very unlikely not pretty unlikely bsbIt's based on the nearest team, Boro, needing 8 more points than us over the remaining 8 games. If we repeat some of our worst form and get 10 points from those games, they need to win 6 out of 8. It's not impossible, just pretty unlikely.
1 out of 100 times unlikely enough?I need very unlikely not pretty unlikely bsb
Tbf Lampard didn't have a brilliant record when you appointed him.Agreed-they did a video when we appointed Lampard, and both said it was a terrible decision - experts my arse.
Yes Lampard is just an OK coach and a great fit for us.Tbf Lampard didn't have a brilliant record when you appointed him.
Don't get me wrong, it wasn't rubbish either, it was merely "ok" with a few decent little periods.
Sometimes a manager just "fits" a club (like Wilder does with the Blades, whereas he's been fairly crap most other places) "gets" the fanbase (whose positivity is absorbed by the players) has a good chairman who'll back him BUT keep his nose out of football affairs (Are you listening Brum?) and is a man who the players respect and buy into the ethos of either due to his former career or his intellect and man-mamagement abilities.
Plus it also seems Frank has (though starting slow) actually learned from his management experience, which some coaches do more than others (Indeed some barely learn at all and they don't tend to have a career beyond a decade long)
You say that ……..1 out of 100 times unlikely enough?
Shit I’m not that bad am I???Pete, maybe you should private message Matt Smith. You two throwing worst case scenarios at each other might be therapeutic.
It's very unlikely.I need very unlikely not pretty unlikely bsb
Oh do rein it in, you wind-up whopperYes Lampard is just an OK coach and a great fit for us.
Hes not an Excellent coach like Hellberg who would suit most teams in the country.

You clearly haven't read the entire post. Or have, but are focussing on a bit to take out of context for the express purpose of having one of your little bit of bants which I suspect is more the case.
His record prior to you was "ok, with some decent little spells". If you can point me to who previously he won the league with, his succession of spellbinding jobs considering his starting position or got the kind of extended form as he has with you then I'd retract that. But he hasn't previously I believe.
However, at the end of my post which you possibly didn't read or just ignored before posting, I also stated he's taken huge strides forward in his management career in improving himself and stated on record that he also fits your club, with it's ethos, to a T.
Which is resulting in him doing the spectacular job that he has done since appointment.
See my reply to CCFCSparks and repeat.ah they still hanging around
Lampard had a decent record, good at derby, good a chelsea until covid came fucked things up, a basket case everton team and they clusterfuck that he walked into 2nd time at chelsea
he also seems to be keen to learn and even though he has won everything and is one of England's best ever players he seems humble enough to change how he does things.
still, he must be only ok as he doesn't get his teams to pass the bass a million times before not scoring a goal
Please Lord2-3 Coventry win on the weekend to help settle Pete’s nerves as Millwall and Ipswich draw 2-2 and Boro draw 1-1
I find the certainty amongst our fans quite impressive considering the near misses we have had. Not to mention most in this forum we’re writing up off during our blip (myself included). We should get promotion, but these things aren’t done on Opta stats otherwise none of us would enjoy watching would we. As a Cov fan for a long time I thought it would be natural to have a bit of caution, but clearly I’m in the minority. Anyway, 8 games to go! PUSB!There's nothing illogical about your caution Pete (sorry!).
I am desperate for promotion, and (just as much) the Championship title. We're in a fantastic strong position, and I get why people are confident.
What I don't get is the certainty, the crowing about guards of honour, open top buses, marquee signings and so on. And all these 99% odds seem way off to me - surely it would only take a couple of poor weekends to make things really tight again.
I hope there isn't the kind of complacency to be found on here amongst the players, and I'm pretty sure Frank won't allow it.
That looks like a £5 treble going on for me2-3 Coventry win on the weekend to help settle Pete’s nerves as Millwall and Ipswich draw 2-2 and Boro draw 1-1
Sure, swap pretty to very when you add in that the two teams behind Boro require an even larger number of points to be gained on ourselves, and two of the three would have to manage it.I need very unlikely not pretty unlikely bsb
It's not caution though, some of what is posted on here by the worst offenders is complete and utter endless, bed wetting, drivel. You'd think we're one of the worst teams in the league the way some go on.I find the certainty amongst our fans quite impressive considering the near misses we have had. Don’t know about bed-wetting drivel. I have seen a few suggest that possible games can be lost etc. Nothing that I would say is completely unreasonable, yet people get v touchy about it. Completely agree that we should enjoy where we are considering what’s been. We’ve had a fantastic season, but surely it would be understandable that any Coventry fan over 15 years would be wary that something could go wrong? It was the sort of culture that Doug referred to when we bought the CBS.It's not caution though, some of what is posted on here by the worst offenders is complete and utter endless, bed wetting, drivel. Who cares if a few people want to get carried away anyway (i'd have probably held back on that bloody open top bus one myself.) I'm not sure why people shouldn't enjoy it after the years of garbage we've had to endure. It also has no affect on the team what people discuss on here as has been said multiple times over the course of the season.
You can try to justify it but its drivel. You're not the only offender, before every game atm there are the same posters who literally talk about us like we're a relegation side. It's boring. I'd rather enjoy it personally but to each their own. Most of the posters aren't usually bad posters either but it's just depressing to read right now, people need to pull themselves together. A. It's football B. This genuinely might be as good as it gets for us for a long time as getting pumped in the Prem might not be all that once the novelty wears off.Don’t know about bed-wetting drivel. To not get promoted we'd have to be even shitter that the shit run we had end of december and januaryDon’t know about bed-wetting drivel. I can’t speak for others, but suggesting we might lose to Swansea is not drivel. I agree it’s just football, so just enjoy the engagement of differing opinions when others aren’t so optimistic. It’s what it’s all about! It’s also weird to find the same people claiming we we’d fucked it during our blip having a go at others now for caution. For what’s worth I think we will get promoted, but the ride will be scary! Either way all the best to you bud!You can try to justify it but it’s drivel. Yeah I think we probs will get promoted, but have no issue if others feel differently. To not get promoted we'd have to be even shitter that the shit run we had end of december and january
Hull is a gimmeSo tomorrows games of importance are
Blackburn vs Boro 12:30
Ipswich vs Millwall 12:30
Sheffield Wed vs Hull 3:0
Blackburn still could get drawn in to relegation battle.
Ipswich Millwall draw I guess is best result. As Ipswich still have game in hand.
Hull need to win to have any chance of Autos but looks tough.
In fairness wilder won promotion with 3 other clubs besides sheffield unitedTbf Lampard didn't have a brilliant record when you appointed him.

Tbf I hadn't looked into his past below League One level, but yeah, he was decent at Alfreton, unremarkable at Halifax and Bury, decent at Oxford and probably best at Northampton prior to joining the Blades. In fairness wilder won promotion with 3 other clubs besides sheffield united
Can I get a pint if that comes inThat looks like a £5 treble going on for me🩵
The point is we can lose half our games and easily do it now.I have seen a few suggest that possible games can be lost etc. Nothing that I would say is completely unreasonable, yet people get v touchy about it.
Where’s the 4-5 weeks come from thenHackney possibly out for two weeks with calf injury according to Hellberg at his presser. Unsurprisingly he was quite vague
I suspect Hull are looking below them rather than above now.So tomorrows games of importance are
