I think their may be something in the contract regarding minimum amount of live appearances, I know that's been the case in the past, no idea if it's part of the current deal but it may offer an answer to your question.
This may be one of those nights where the wife gets to watch tv as much as she wants then as long as its not Eastenders

On the Southampton v Norwich match, I think there's something about postponed matches can't be broadcast if they were originally scheduled for 3pm on a Saturday.
I think they can but only if both clubs agree to it.

I seem to remember for our Hull home match a couple of seasons ago, which was moved for the cup, Hull fans were annoyed because we said no to the match being on?

State of this

They’re conflating two things that aren’t necessarily good markers of one another

So number of points means a team is really good!!! Mm ok maybe but what if there were more teams who were just better wouldn’t that mean the number of points would reduce?

oh well whoever goes up won’t give a shit if they get less than 83 I know I wouldn’t

Feeling less despondent last few days
If someone said just prior to the Boro game, we're going to win 6 on the bounce followed by a slightly unlucky defeat to Southampton, you'd have snapped their hand off. My gut instinct instinct is that tomorrow mid afternoon will be closest any team gets between now and the end of the season.

I might be in the minority on this forum but I like both Conway and Stansfield. They're not out and out goalscorers and they were both overpaid for but I like busy forwards.

Both Blues and Boro need a proper 9 to go with them.

It’s not logic or rational
I’m sorry
There's nothing illogical about your caution Pete (sorry!).

I am desperate for promotion, and (just as much) the Championship title. We're in a fantastic strong position, and I get why people are confident.

What I don't get is the certainty, the crowing about guards of honour, open top buses, marquee signings and so on. And all these 99% odds seem way off to me - surely it would only take a couple of poor weekends to make things really tight again.

I hope there isn't the kind of complacency to be found on here amongst the players, and I'm pretty sure Frank won't allow it.

It's based on the nearest team, Boro, needing 8 more points than us over the remaining 8 games. If we repeat some of our worst form and get 10 points from those games, they need to win 6 out of 8. It's not impossible, just pretty unlikely.
