No, regardless of whether Middlesbrough get promoted, Hackney will be playing PL football next season.

Didn’t take Norwich long to score against Oxford!

Took Norwich less than 60 seconds to do what we couldn't do in 90 minutes.

Probably not passing back to the keeper at every chance and got a striker who can hit the target.

It's like i said when you are top of the league they setup to stifle and reduce attacking threat. Oxford set up differently at home than when they come to our place. Proof of the pudding is Norwich score really early on.

They are playing with urgency and tempo.

We play like we are 4-0 up when if we are 2-1 down.

Thats the way it can go. Scoring after 60 seconds isn’t always down to great play, sloppiness and luck can play a part.

Against us defending was the priority. Against lower placed teams they have to give it a go. They will be more open.

Comparing the two games is like comparing apples and pears.

Obviously Oxford were never going to pose a big attacking threat, unless we helped them.

But, we could have helped ourselves a little bit by showing a little more urgency. I mean, I got fed up of hearing Gurney talk about Milan and his favourite pass of the game, back to Rushworth.

So easy when you aren't playing back to the keeper and have strikers gambling.

The first was direct as you like as well.

Yeah, we could’ve done with the keeper completely missing the ball in the first minute

It helps to have a plan to come out all guns blazing and try and score easily.

You are right we don't play with any urgency whatsoever ever! I think why FL dropped Kitch and Thomas to give them a Furlong to see if that would get them up and going

Look at the quick passing and movement off the ball and then a first time pass across the box instead of fucking around with it then floating a shit cross to our useless strike force who can't head for love or money. Also look at how many they have in the box.

Leicester 3 Southampton 0 would you expect that from Southampton?

Southampton fans have to be wondering what’s gone on with them this season. Losing 3 nil to Leicester is bad enough, but Patson Fucking Daka has scored against them?

Hopefully Leicester will hit some form and spank both Boro and Ipswich in a few weeks.

Now I'm conflicted. I want them to go down, but not if them staying up means we have a better chance of getting promoted!

First half we played like we had all the time in the world. But you will never draw them out with a slow tempo. Mix the tempo by all means.

I thought there were spells when we did play with urgency 2nd half on Saturday. In injury time, yes some players looked scared to take a risk, hesitant and cautious. Sakamoto and MVE looked like two of the worst and we needed better from both of them.

that illustrates how our wingers don’t get behind defences so our attackers can run onto the ball and attack it. Force the defenders into a position where they are facing their own goal.

Saka and EMC cut inside to much. Don’t get a cross in. Don’t get a shot away. Dasilva despite his high positions rarely puts crosses in. Even if our wingers do put crosses in they are often delayed and the best angle missed.

At least Esse took risks in and around the box and tried to force issues.
