They have been backed financially yes. But they will still be playing catchup with a bunch of strangers and players from League 1 where if they don't start strongly will be up against it. I honestly think they will be OK this season then become a side with a good chance in another year.He was class at Celtic and not really sure why they sold him tbh
I wonder if its a matter of time till Brum go up considering their backing

No, Blues need a quick promotion as there is no way they are going be able to pass PSR.Ya I agree , kinda what I meant by a matter of time
Maybe same for Wrexham too
But we will give it a go this year so hopefully it's our time and we are established prem team by time they join us
Ya I dunno how the psr works in championship tbf. Hopefully it's not something they can bypassNo, Blues need a quick promotion as there is no way they are going be able to pass PSR.

The loan can go both ways. Being the owners they owe the money to themselves.Only if they get promoted.
People also have to remember all their spending last year was from a loan at 12% interest from their owners
Preimera Liga, not La LigaBrum sign another Japanese player from La Liga. Kanya Fujimoto no.10

26 and not a full international

Not sure if PL PSR rules are different from the Championship, but stadium building costs (ie 'club infrastructure'), for example for Everton, were exempt from PSR.Knight head are in it for the long run at blues, bought the Birmingham wheels site with plans to build a 60k seater stadium on it. I don’t claim to know a lot about how PSR works but surely wouldn’t risk putting Birmingham into financial trouble?
Wenger said building a new ground put Arsenal back years as they could no longer compete on transfers. 60k is peanuts for a ground these days. Most big projects go way over budget as well. Not sure if PL PSR rules are different from the Championship, but stadium building costs (ie 'club infrastructure'), for example for Everton, were exempt from PSR.
They're a hedge fund looking for a quick promotion to the PL by overspending and then trying to make the money back on a quick sale.Knight head are in it for the long run at blues, bought the Birmingham wheels site with plans to build a 60k seater stadium on it. It's going to be interesting to see how they start. I know Ipswich went up to the Prem on their first attempt, but they started with a settled side. Brum will start with a team of strangers not knowing each others strengths. To be able to come in the top 2 you need at least a decent start. The top 2 sides don't normally lose many games so once there's a gap it's hard to close it. So they would then be joining the lottery of the playoffs at best. They're a hedge fund looking for a quick promotion to the PL by overspending and then trying to make the money back on a quick sale.
Heard that story before?
How would it help him?Would love us to sign anotherJapanese player, preferably a centre mid, would help Tats a lot and also just think most are really classy creative players.
Thought it would be fairly self explanatory but having someone who speaks his native language around the squad, to help him settle and be even more happy at the club and in the area. How would it help him?
What is Birmingham’s net spending at from last summer to now?
More importantly how much have they spent on transfers that counts towards this seasons accounts. They're allowed to run at a loss of 39m over a rolling 3 year period in the Championship. Their time in League 1 were more to do with players wages. Could it be they go for it this season then struggle to keep within the rules after 1 season? What is Birmingham’s net spending at from last summer to now?
Figures taken from Transfermarkt (hence in Euros) - net spend of €34.21m.
Essentially yes. They can play slightly fast and loose in season 1. With some very creative accounting they might be able to go through 2 years. After that, without promotion, they will be fucked.More importantly how much have they spent on transfers that counts towards this seasons accounts. How would selling their ground change things? They paid £51 recently for the land to build a new stadium. They have received grants of nearly £20m for clearing the ground which is contaminated. The work has already started.
