USA owners, Delia long gone.

Delia and her husband still have a 10 per cent stake but relinquished their places on the board. They are honorary life presidents. They put a lot of money into Norwich over the years and were very good owners. Norwich really developed as a club under their stewardship. The training facilities at Norwich are vastly superior to ours.

Did they put a lot of money into Norwich? The fans paid for the training ground improvements via a bond. They got promoted the following season then paid them back.

People on the board said more than some fans realised. The fans main complaint about them was the usual football fan mentality of they should just be investing more. But I think they were sensible owners and probably gave Norwich supporters some of their best years. They will probably be the last of the local business person owns local football club of any stature. Being a multi millionaire is no longer enough you need to be a multi billionaire.

We know already that multi billionaires aren't always the best owners.

Great at recruiting the right kind of manager (Farke) which gave them recent success. That said they’d have been in deep shit when Maddison got injured a few months before joining Leicester. Always lots of luck involved but they are well run club.

Yes any club is the sum total of its component parts. You need the right people in the right places and no one person makes a club.

Kyogo is a cracking signing. Really jealous of their window so far. How much have they speny
10 million rumoured on him but the others have been loans or freebies on high wages so far I think from what I’ve seen on twitter.

Is Blues bringing in all these names any different to us 2 years ago when we threw money at things?

They'll be up there, without doubt.

If it all gels. Hull City looked like they'd be world certainties when they signed Philogene, Delap? and those Turkish players. All good on paper, but didn't happen.

They just been promoted and going for it, which we didn’t do when we went up from L1. Let’s see who else they bring but they’re going for top 6.

But spending £10m on someone who will be 31 in 6/7 months is interesting.

He’s talking about 2023 not 2020

He was class at Celtic and not really sure why they sold him tbh

I wonder if its a matter of time till Brum go up considering their backing
Because he missed loads of chances and Maeda is a better striker and is the actual first choice Japan striker.

We can actually about Kyogo if you want, it will be interesting to see how he get's on in a team that doesn't give him 6 or 7 good chances a game.

He can score great goals but can miss sitters on a regular basis. He was very good in the Ange team but nowhere as good in the Rodgers team.

General view was not many wanted him back at Celtic.

Kyogo at Celtic wanted a new challenge, with him wanting to move. But it appears his move to Rennes has backfired on him a little bit.

Yeah I was just surprised he went rennes. Not a bad team but not great either. Do think perhaps they sold a project to him though at time

No, they were the best team to want him. He didn't really play for them and they have binned him off after 6 months.
