Birmingham's operating losses for 2023 and 2024 combined are already £56m
They are a completely delusional, unbearable bunch of lunatics.Saw some nause Blues fan on Facebook claim that they were probably the most attractive club for a player outside of the PL

Anymore of that talk and some folk will get upset at you just because they rented us their pitch at the market value. They are a completely delusional, unbearable bunch of lunatics.
Anyone with their noses in the arses of those absolute wankers can get in the bin and if any such people are reading this, i'm ashamed we support the same club. Blues fans are fucking horrible, and stupid.Anymore of that talk and some folk will get upset at you just because they rented us their pitch at the market value.
I find it bizarre they ignore it was the same ownership that took them from the play offs to be relegated. It's going to be really interesting to see how long they stick with Davies as manager when reality hits and they are not 10 points clear by October, I could seem them look to make another Hollywood appointmentSaw some nause Blues fan on Facebook claim that they were probably the most attractive club for a player outside of the PL
Would love to hear their reasoning as think it’s nonsense.Saw some nause Blues fan on Facebook claim that they were probably the most attractive club for a player outside of the PL

Seems to all revolve around HS2, which is weird. Hopefully that implodes and there is a chain reaction.I really hope it goes tits up at Birmingham and they completely implode

The staidum looks a lot more viable now the government are on board with the surrounding infrastructureI don't really see how it won't to be honest.
Everything Wagner has actually proposed from the 60k capacity stadium to claims that they're going to have the most revenue of any Championship club ever who hasn't received parachute payments is complete fantasy.

They've just delayed HS2 by two more yearsThe staidum looks a lot more viable now the government are on board with the surrounding infrastructure
be surprised if that happens, left Celtic as the Japan coach said he needed too show himself at a higher level than Celtic who are a champions league team.Rumours on X that Birmingham are trying to Sign Kyogo from Rennes not done much there but I was always impressed by him when he played for Celtic
I think the Championship FFP is stricter than the lower leagues version as well, think I read something about how the rules on owner funding is a lot tighter etc.
Also noises coming out of Wrexham seem like they are not going all in this year and the signing of Hardie points at a more sensible approach for this league.
Tbf it doesn't look like he's done much in France and proves you need to be careful when spending big on a player from a league like the SPL. Adam Idah must have a similar scoring record to Kyogo at least?be surprised if that happens, left Celtic as the Japan coach said he needed too show himself at a higher level than Celtic who are a champions league team.
Blues will be linked with load this summer, don't be shocked if they are convincing themselves Messi has a nan from Digbeth soon.
cheers, i knew they they were much stricter at this levelIt’s not so much the ‘owner contribution’ angle - L1 and L2 have restrictions on how much turnover can be spent on wages, that’s it. You could theoretically spend £500m on signing players as long as their wages were no more than 60% (L1) or 55% (L2) of your turnover. Stepping up to the Championship it becomes a full P&L focus so transfer fees, etc then form part of the calculation. An owner could still pump money in but the core of the club would need to be at least self-sufficient (including player trading) for it not to immediately throw the club into special measures.
Would love to hear their reasoning as think it’s nonsense.
Players care mostly about three things, Coaching and Facilities, Match time, and Wages. Obviously Birmingham appear to have good facilities after buying wasps old training ground, but imagine other sides have better looking at Southampton, Sheffield United and Norwich as recent premiership teams which were there for a little bit of time.
Chris Davies for Me has a big season to prove himself as one of the better coaches since last year was heavily skewered by the funds given. Again if I was a player, Will Still, Kieran McKenna, Jon Eustace, Danny Rohl or Frank Lampard would all appeal for me over him.
Wages is again something they can definitely offer on the higher end but surely not as much as any of the parachute teams.
Difference here is that Blues owners are more than happy to offer nice gifts to help them get permissionThey've just delayed HS2 by two more years

It's only viable if they plan to rent it to us in the futureAgreed the government funding for the tram line suggests it's a lot more likely than previously thought. Assuming a stadium will indeed be built though it's categorically not going to be anywhere near a 60k capacity arena.
That's not at all viable.
Birmingham train at Wasps old facility that they nabbed off Warwickshire College Group. As much as Leicester have got their problems, they have got outstanding facilities that are way above the level of the ex college training pitch Wasps use and most teams in the country (not just the Championship). Just because Wasps called it an "elite training centre" doesn't mean it is.
Southampton:

Birmingham's place looks similar to Ryton in level of facility
