Ipswich would get annihilated in the Prem. Would comfortably beat Derby's record.

Also, we're exactly the kind of team that'll beat them.

Last year a few teams were flying high up to Xmas only for everyone to catch them up as they were found out - Ipswich will be the same

Based on performance to date I'd have faith in their manager pulling it out of the hat with them (with some new players). Look at what he's getting from players like Conor Chaplin (who was always decent but we and others didn't get the best out of him).

Good point. Though they definitely seem the kind of team that once they get found out they'll lose by 3-4 goals. I'd wager us to be that team once our players are fit.

I might be wrong but I think they’re playing him in a similar role to the one Robins tried ie not a striker.
Im basing this on how my football app has Ipswich lining up…

Quick theory as to why Ipswich have done so well. Last season a lot of teams utilised the PL loan system well, but this season, the same quality of players don't seem to have been made available, and I wonder if this caught a few teams out (see M'Boro, Swansea as examples).

Wednesday fans will be hoping this guy is the next Kieran McKenna - if he’s not they’re down

Owls appoint Danny Röhl

Sheffield Wednesday are delighted to announce the appointment of Danny Röhl as our new manager. The renowned German coach takes over as Owls boss with immediate effect, with an impressive career in his locker to date.

Though arguably McKenna had the foundations of a very competitive league 1 squad to start with, Wednesday do not have the equivalent in the championship.

MR miles ahead of the others in terms of longevity (Championship) - 6 years 7 months. The next is Pearson at Bristol City with 2 years 7months (the rest are all under 2 years!)

Wagner must be under pressure after that display against us and then bottling a 2-0 lead infront of their own fans at the weekend

I know it's a "if only" but if we had beaten Bristol we would be up there but do think MR has got to adjust to situations better ie changes in formation, tiring players and on Saturday not taking Eccles off corner duty. For me this is his achilles heel.

You'd have been calling for Carrick's head after their start (and the way they ended last season)

I haven’t called for the manager’s head in his entire time here. Unlike someone else who does it every season…

Aren't Boro a great example of not panicking and trusting the manager?

Failing to beat CCFC was a sackable offence for most Norwich managers I thought
