Ipswich would get annihilated in the Prem. Would comfortably beat Derby's record.

Based on performance to date I'd have faith in their manager pulling it out of the hat with them (with some new players). Look at what he's getting from players like Conor Chaplin (who was always decent but we and others didn't get the best out of him).

Good point. Though they definitely seem the kind of team that once they get found out they'll lose by 3-4 goals. I'd wager us to be that team once our players are fit.

I might be wrong but I think they’re playing him in a similar role to the one Robins tried ie not a striker.
Im basing this on how my football app has Ipswich lining up…

Quick theory as to why Ipswich have done so well. Last season a lot of teams utilised the PL loan system well, but this season, the same quality of players don't seem to have been made available, and I wonder if this caught a few teams out (see M'Boro, Swansea as examples).

Wednesday fans will be hoping this guy is the next Kieran McKenna - if he’s not they’re down

Though arguably McKenna had the foundations of a very competitive league 1 squad to start with, Wednesday do not have the equivalent in the championship.

Yeah, Ipswich had punched below their weight for a number of years.

Victim of his own success? I think they've punched above their weight a bit over the past few years for what is a second and third tier yo yo club

I know it's a "if only" but if we had beaten Bristol we would be up there but do think MR has got to adjust to situations better ie changes in formation, tiring players and on Saturday not taking Eccles off corner duty. For me this is his achilles heel.
