Championship table after 36 games last season (4 Viewers)

Seeing that table and remembering how absurdly strong Leeds and Burnley were makes me grateful that we’ve given ourselves a good shot of automatics this season.

Next years top 3 might be a total lockout with 3 really strong clubs (Wolves, Burnley and potentially Tottenham or West Ham) coming down and add to that the playoffs will be bigger with more games, potentially with some big sides who underperformed this season. Wouldn’t want to be down here with a Tottenham or a West Ham next season.

Agree. Spurs Burnley wolves Ipswich Leicester Southampton blues Wrexham. That could be the top 8 next season

Pushing a similar return to the superb leeds team , and the sheffield united team that finished on 92 points

Same points as burnley

What a season
Think our current side falls in with Burnley/Sheffield United last year in terms of whole package. Similar quality coaching and players to Sheff U from last year, better coaching but a slighlty less talented side than Burnley. Leeds a step above all of us though.

The more I look at the bottom half of prem, the more optmisitc I am about us giving it a good go next year. With a few smart additions and say Boro/anyone but Ipswich coming up. No reason why we can't compete with West Ham, Leeds, Sunderland.

And the jealous idiots from other clubs keep saying the championship this season is the worst.
It’s weak for sure. Teams coming down have been nowhere near it apart from Ipswich and even they haven’t been a strong as they were last time. Add to that Sheff United and Birmingham seriously underperforming.

Even now, it seems that we get ignored by the media and the main focus is on Middlesbrough and Ipswich.
That's because they say City will do it and the news worthy subject is those two teams and have to play each other of which the winner will solidify 2nd place

I disagree. The 3 promoted clubs have been far stronger than usual, Ipswich have a ridiculous squad and while Lesta have had a nightmare season, so did Luton last year. Southampton have now found their feet and I expect to ultimately end up in the top 6.
