Celtic in for Westwood (5 Viewers)

Celtic have made enquiries for Kieran Westwood, this is obviously to replace Artur Borac.
He would be first choice and have crack at the Champions League, maybe that would be too much of a temptation for him!!

I hope not, Westwood should be patient he is better then Celtic! He is loved here, look what happened to Danny Fox, the Celtic fans hated him. Can't stand the SPL, and I hate Celtic as well to be fair. Something tells me he would go there if the chance came though. Big wages, large full stadium, Champions League football (at least the beginning where Celtic and Rangers always get knocked out straight away).

Oh and the chance to put yourself up against the best strikers around like Kevin Kyle and cold rainy trips to Blue Square Premiership-like clubs

Celtic can piss off, it's a shame if Keiren wants to go to a shit league where all the fans just go on and on about how they're such a big club despite the fact that Giorgios Samaras gets into their first team.

Hopefully he has the sense to at least go to a half-decent team if he really wants to leave.

On the other hand I have a horrible feeling that if he goes we'll go down.

He will go to the team who offers him the most money.All footballers are the same,they will go where the money is.If we get a decent fee for him then i'd get rid,he's the best keeper outdide the prem by a country mile but if the majority of the fee he brings in can be spent on strengthning the squad,which it desperatly needs,then i think it's for the best.We can pick up a reliable number 1 for next to nothing.If the club get offered the figure they have in mind he's a gonna.Fingers crossed we invest most of it in the squad.But if we get £4 million,do we realy think it will ALL be spent on new players,not a chance.

The trouble is that we all know deep down that the fee we get for westwood wont go on new players,it never does.Infact im getting pissed off with ranson and sisus bullshit.If were skint then be honest with us instead of bullshitting us every transfer window.

I have read that we said it was £4m for him and they have started looking at Lee Grant at Sheffield Wednesday instead. He still didn't feature against Hinckley though!

Ill be honest with you,at the moment i can only see a season of stuggle ahead and possibly a relegation battle.I think were weaker than last season.Pre season friendlies are not all about the results but if we cant score against hinckley and nuneaton(no disrespect)then god help us.

Spot on.Friendly or not,2 games against non-league oppisition and no goals.It gets into the players heads,there still trying to score but at the moment they are not capable of finding the net.With a front line of Orlando Smeekes and Roy O'Donovan its hardly a suprise,not to mention the prolific Freddy Eastwood to come off the bench!!!!!!!.No matter what anyone says,with the current squad we are in for a real struggle.The signings going by previous are poor/unproven,apart from macca whos touch and go,but i suppose its only what our budget will allow.Can anyone see us getting one decent striker in,let alone 2,we will go for someone who nobody else shows an intrest in.I realy want us to do well but im becoming increasingly fustrated by the same rubbish.Wouldnt it be lovely just for once to threaten the play offs,but i cant see it.

Your right trev,i dont know whats going on behind the scenes at the ricoh but if ranson thinks fans are gonna pay through the nose to watch the likes of that lot then he must have a screw loose or he just coudnt give a shit.We need a fans forum so we can find out exactly where the club is heading.

Its obvious sisu are not prepared to put any money in whatsoever,i just dont get their attitude,do they not realise whats going on,weve been on a downward spiral since they took us over and i cant for the life of me see why they did.Im glad they saved us from admin etc but we cant thank them forever,It was 3 years ago they took over and there has been no progress at all!! Has the debt been paid off? I doubt it has,everything is so secretive from who our owners are to transfer fees we get for our players.

Ill always support city,its hard not to,its a massive part of my life! But ive never felt so pissed off as i do now.We deserve better.
