Afternoon!
The ladies team were up in Sunderland on Sunday and came from two goals down to snatch a draw in stoppage time which keeps their hopes of winning the Women's Premier League alive thanks to goals from Milly Durrant and Courtney Sweetman-Kirk.
As things stand the side are in third position on 21 points from 13 games. Sunderland and Leeds are joint top with 23 points from 11 games. It's an 18 game season so Cov are the outsiders in the title race but Sunderland and Leeds still have to play each other and both sides have some tricky league fixtures ahead.
There are five league games remaining for Cov, with trips to Cardiff and Nottingham Forest ahead as well as home games against Barnet, Watford and Aston Villa.
The game against Watford is on the 4th December with the Barnet fixture the week after on the 11th. The Villa game has been postponed due to County Cup commitments and a new date has yet to be agreed. The games take place at the Bedworth Oval, home of Beduff United and kick-off at 2pm. If you've not been to Beduff before it's got a decent clubhouse, which is usually showing one of the live TV games, and there is an elevated stand which provides excellent views of the pitch. All support is massively appreciated.
