Has the shop site been down all this time still, or does it come in and out of consciousness?

Its obvious the long electricty lead from Tescos to the computer set up on the barrow, sorry I mean shop, keeps being knocked out as people trip over it. Still trying to sell tickets on the Clubs new computer a ZX81 must be hell!

I was told by a mate of byng's that he has slipped timmy a fiver and told him to upgrade said computer to an amstrad cpc464 with a colour screen and a built in tape deck but apparently the tapes are a bugger to load :)

They'll be fine once they figure out that blowing air into the tape deck fixes everything.

Timmy will be mad about that as he hoped to raise a bit of cash by using the tape deck for mobile discos, called Timmys Otium Super Sisu Entertinment Rave Spectacular or Tossers for short.

A little bit of topic. But anyone on a iPad, is the third box next to the quote button, a like button? I have wanted to push it as it places a tick. But don't want to piss someone off by making a mistake.

It's for multiquoting. If you want to quote more than one post in your reply, you click that on each post you wish to quote.

On this nerd tangent, it's weird that my phone takes a miniscule SD card with twice the storage of the expensive hard drive I put in my first PC. Of course, it were all fields back then, RAM was rationed thanks to the war and the internet was in black and white.
