Agreed, but often I felt this was down to the gaps we leave for teams to run into, and that's down to system, not individual defenders.
Having a bloke off the street in goal for us for a spell also accentuates defensive frailties.
It’s both. I feel Kitching and Thomas as a whole are too erratic and too unaware of danger developing. Of the two Thomas is younger, and for me has better attributes but needs someone calmer alongside him who can see the game and direct him a bit.
