maybe now the people who keep insisting there is no issue will shut up and admit there is actually a problem

must be hugely frustrating for our ground staff to say the least

Surely it's out of our control though. If the pitch is unfit through no fault of our own, then they can't make us forfeit the game.

Games get called off for weather conditions etc. but would it not be a forfeit in this case if we can’t fulfil the fixture?

You'd hope that the EFL would be sympathetic given it is something totally out of our control. If our landlords can't provide a playable pitch its not really something we can be blamed for

They're at home tonight so Sunday could be possible maybe. But would their ground hold enough people now that have tickets?

There are no scrums,no mauls and no rucks. The pitch will not cut up as much as it will playing football on it.
So take a chill pill and calm down.
Oh, games are over for today. Pitch looks fine.

I will admit I got it wrong. But that pitch must have been in a sorry state before it even started.
Only the groundsman will know if it was ready. And he would have been told to keep quiet, Commonwealth games obviously took precedence.

Wonder what was paid for use of the CBS.. money should be reinvested to bring the pitch up to expected quality

Can't believe they had a concert on it, and then all those fucking male and female buffaloes stampeding up and down and digging wallows in it.
Fuck Wasps, tell them to whistle for the rent for as long as it's unplayable

From the pictures I have seen, it looked perfect before the start of the Rugby 7’s.

Reduces? Should be cancelled completely and compensation paid. We’re literally not getting what we pay for.

This is the worry, is this something that can be sorted before the cup game or even the Wigan game. If there's a fundamental problem and its a danger to players how long are we talking to get this resolved.

Might be more difficult to repair as ground conditions are rock hard.
