Apologies if thisbhas already been posted.

Went up to the ticket office earlier and noticed this! I'm sure it used to be an hour free parking.

30mins to buy your ST or match day ticket not too bad if there's no queues (99% of the time).
Couple were sorting a group of STHs and swapping seats and were going to go over the 30mins so another 6.50 on top of the 8 ST fee.

But if you're going to the club shop then best bet is to walk over from Tesco's unless anyone has seen a notice of buying something from club shop you can get more time free.

Seems counter productive. Its not going to apply on event days so who is going up there on non-event days? Are they trying to put people off going to the club shop, the coffee shop, restaurant etc?

I suppose you could park there (if it was free) and use it to get the train into Coventry if you worked there. Even with the piss poor service I imagine it would be quicker than the bus or driving if you lived that end of town or somewhere near the M6

Are park and rides still a thing here? I know there used to be one at memorial park?

In the Club shop, you can get an hour if you register before the half hour passes (if that makes sense) which might help if you go again 👍there was a tablet by the printing area

Thing is it's the New world rule not CCFC.
You can't park anywhere now without paying.
I travel a lot with work, and nearly every hotel makes you pay for Parking. Even the ones in the middle of nowhere.
Just try working in London now there's a place you never want to park but when you have a car full of tools what can you do?

Can you claim on expenses at least?

I used to have to go to Nottingham, it was about £15 a day to park so ended up getting the park and ride. (Obviously can't with tools)

Are we sure this is the club's decision and not frasers? They do own the land
Definitely won't be anything to do with the club. Not sure it will even be Frasers, isn't the parking outsourced?

If it is whoever has the contract can probably set whatever price they want, within reason.
