Imagine if Dovin was in goal today!Imagine if Wilson was in goal today
Even with the penalty giveaway, it was as good a GK performance as I’ve seen us have in years.

He played well but at fault for the pen ,no need for him to be caught out like that and he got away earlier on when he came rushing out of his goal and Kitching cleared.Imagine if Dovin was in goal today!

Runs out summer 27Im hoping that there is a loan to buy clause. I believe his contract runs out next summer too
Brighton are going to be pissed at us in future I sense. With one year left on his contract player power will play a part.
if we get promoted he will obviously want to stay and play next season. Unless they’re going to guarantee first team football, and Verbruggen is contracted to 2028(?), is it worth making him stay? Not much chance of his value increasing and a danger of him walking for nothing.
But that’s all a long way off.

Sure, but he made enough top saves that I don’t care.He played well but at fault for the pen ,no need for him to be caught out like that and he got away earlier on when he came rushing out of his goal and Kitching cleared.
Depends on where they are with him. He's not starting ahead of Verbruggen so at best he's fighting it out to be second or third choice. He will be 25 at the start of next season so not a prospect. The highest level he's played at is Championship level. He has a years option in Brighton's favour. No chance they don't extend that
The giving away of the penalty was a result of inexperience and over exuberance something that will be duly noted, pointed out and rectified in the coming weeks. He played well but at fault for the pen ,no need for him to be caught out like that and he got away earlier on when he came rushing out of his goal and Kitching cleared.
Think Dovin stays as a number 2 if we're a Prem team. It is a tricky one though tbf, I also see the benefit of getting him a good loan move.If we get promoted then we’ll surely be signing him for a chunky fee. He has a few things to improve on for sure, but has the skill set we need from a keeper and will only improve over time. I would not be surprised to see Dovin go out on loan next season.
I think Dovin needs both patience and game time to properly recover and I don’t think that being a backup keeper in the PL is going to give him either. I would send him to a Championship team for the year next season and see where he’s at, he’s played fewer than 30 games in this country.Think Dovin stays as a number 2 if we're a Prem team. I assume you'd want another keeper in too though? No way is Wilson a Prem second choice.I think Dovin needs both patience and game time to properly recover and I don’t think that being a backup keeper in the PL is going to give him either. Yeah definitely. Another loan or a short-term freebie I imagine.I assume you'd want another keeper in too though? No way is Wilson a Prem second choice.
You dont care because we scored 3 and against 10 men the game was over.Sure, but he made enough top saves that I don’t care.
